i gues i didn't mean "your" coin as in like one you designed...but rather, one you normally keep on your person.
when i first got to our squadron, i had been there about 3 months or so, and one of the big-wigs on the floor "dropped" his coin...and all the airmen had one, and i didn't. so i had to go to the shopette on base and buy them all a drink (non-alcoholic, since we were on shift). but yeah...the one day i didn't ing have it with me. was kinda pissed....but it was neat because it showed that i took pride in the tradition and didn't just sit back and say, " you guys". so yeah, following through, imo, is a good thing.
i've had i think like 2-4 drinks for free for doing it to others btw :D |
