Yep, been thinking about buying a Deluxe car-wash at the gas station one of these visits, but man, spending $7 on your car just seems ridiculous. |

Yes, but the 'Department of War and Finance' has a bigger say in these things, course someone isn't happy about what could be a 1st class trip to Europe being spent on a car but, well... she shouldn't have broken the last car!
Course she didn't break it deliberately and I'm not playing the guilt card just yet :D
They're standard with an 18' 45mm profile tyre. So, rather than recalibrate either the speedometer or my brain to take into account speed differences, I'll just stick to stock.
I'm not a big fan of very large rims either on road cars, 18' as is, is kind of pushing how much I'll put up with. |
oh i didnt know they were 18's stock. here they had 17's. and you shouldnt have to recalibrate the speedo if its a 1" change. |

No it's not a huge difference, though any difference in a car which will probably be 'cop bait' is one less reason to have them bother you.
Wash your own cars, lazy boys! :haha: |

lol your so worried about cops. im not saying i havent had my fair share of times being pulled over but seriously. rims arent one that will make much a difference if at all.
and no. its easier to just get the guys that come to my office to do it. :D :p |

Yes you do seem to know a lot about being booked :haha:
Well it's stock, so there's a lot less harassment to be had or me having to cry and whine my way out of tickets, which is a mixed result at best. It'll stay stock too so I don't get hit with defects! |

Last time I got left with grot tenants I just looked at it and gave up, so I got an army of 6 vietnamese people contracted to a cleaning company that got the whole lot done in about 2hours and it would have taken me 2 days.
Christ they worked like demons!
Where you going to move too Ian if you sell? |

From breakfast on through all the day
At home among my friends I stay,
But every night I go abroad
Afar into the land of Nod.
All by myself I have to go,
With none to tell me what to do—
All alone beside the streams
And up the mountain-sides of dreams.
The strangest things are there for me,
Both things to eat and things to see,
And many frightening sights abroad
Till morning in the land of Nod.
Try as I like to find the way,
I never can get back by day,
Nor can remember plain and clear
The curious music that I hear.
- "The Land of Nod" by Robert Louis Stevenson
Sooooooooo tired. |

Well.....
:clown:
It ain't that hard.
While I was on my Uni summer holidays (damn, that was a while ago now... :/), I used to work with a friend of mine doing 'construction cleaning' and doing the final clean-ups for the builders, once the house/renovation had been finished.
Let me just say though, tradesmen are the filthiest bastards in the world.
But hey, as a student trying to make some money in my hols, I could make nearly 3 grand a week doing it. Cash, too.
WHAT A JOB. I WOULD KILL MYSELF IF I HAD TO KEEP DOING THAT. |

Tradies are animals! :haha:
Damn it when I had a bathroom redone they basically, you know, set up 'camp' in that little corner of the world ripping everything to bits, dragging god damn plaster, tiles, bits of crap everywhere- through the house out to the skip bin.
It's enough to make jebus cry blood with the trail of crap all through the house and front yard... god damn mong builders labourers...
Then.
Then they'll just sort of pick up most of the larger debris once they're done and leave you to do all the damn dirt picking up and other such ingrained crud. :( |
