yes, it's wikipedia, but I can't find another such list, and it's accurate for the places I've lived:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcoho...States_by_state
on-premises = club/bar/restaurant
off = store |

this whole thing about wikipedia not being able to be used as a reliable source is a crock of anyways. im not saying its 100% correct at all, but people being ing morons about using it need to shut the up. if you need very specific and reliable info yeah its bad. if you need general info, and even some specific stuff such as this, its ok. there are MANY MANY things that are 100% correct on there. people are just trying to nit pick and be stupid about it. |

anything that can be described with an essay (e.g. the biography of anyone remotely involved with politics) is probably total BS, though. |

but you can certainly write an essay on anything with enough information. which almost every post on wikipedia has. |

you just supported what i said. you can write an essay on anything. the only thing this showed what i was wrong on was the fact that its more of an opinion piece. |

| well, in that case, we're both right. I meant anything that's subjective, you meant that it can apply to a lot of stuff. a lot of stuff is subjective. win/win |

| I use wikipedia mainly to look up stuff I've never heard of before (like names, events, etc.), just to get a general idea as to what the hell it is. If you've never heard of John Olvikianagostarosh & someone makes a reference to him, chances are you'll get some general idea of who the guy is from wikipedia. If you want to know the economic implications of a proposed bill, you're gonna wanna look somewhere else. |
