yeah, these plastic tihngs suck. you bang your head, and its no big deal. biggest thing you can get from a plastic twisty slide is a shock at the end because you got so electrically charged riding down. but even the shock is merely sometihng simple, nothing too powerful :(
i remember (distinctly), growing up and walking home from school in the winter time. we would go to this one old skool playground that had a metal twisty slide that actually spun around two full rotations. it was about 30 feet in the air tall. and we would ride down on the frozen/iced over metal on our backpacks. and if you got too much speed on the ice, you would fly off the edge of the railing and land on the frozen concrete.
man those were some good times.
