We all like to think we're comfortable and brave with facing life's uncertainties and picking through what we think and what we feel as being easy. But I'm yet to meet anyone who's genuinely happy being in any kind of severe uncertainty for long periods of time when expectations don't meet what we think should be happening. It causes fatigue, your clarity of thought goes to hell and all you want to do is just cop out and run away, save yourself the bother. Which is where you are now.
