I thought about that, but then I'd be told to write it down from the screen. That's a pain, though...and it sucks for driving at night.
a couple days after I downloaded google maps, I made a trip to austin, used it to get there. Was supposed to meet people for dinner, but they weren't going to know where 'til I was almost there. Got close, got to the hotel, dropped off my stuff, got a call with the name of the place, looked up the address online the phone, put it in google maps, drove there. Got another call, "we're going somewhere else, instead"
repeat process for new place, have dinner, nobody knows how to get from there to the club. I look it up, we head over. next morning, needed alcohol, cigars, & other essentials. Found the nearest places...using google maps. got directions. headed back. needed to go to a mall...found the closest one, got directions, headed back. so yeah. it came in handy. |
