Alright, a couple questions for all the c0r DJ's out there:
Is james Holden's "Nothing" (93 Returning Mix) played out or still acceptable for appearance in quote en quote "demo" sets?
and...
Would opening with the Darren Emerson Late Night Dub of "Scorchio" mixed into the aforementioned remix of "Nothing" be considered too many "classics" to hammer out for the beginning of a set...?
I don't know why I'm asking - I'm working on something right now and I'm happy with what I've got so far, so regardless of what your answers are I'll probably stick with what I've got - But I'd just like some opinions beforehand... :p
Man... I bump this and the "Dear..." thread more than anyone... |
in my opinion.. nothing was too played out to be part of a demo, unless you did something really creative with it. scorchio late night dub is old enough to sound "fresh" again though, kinda like how greece 2000 was getting played out a lot last year.. you know what i mean? though, opening with the late night dub of scorchio screams live sasha from 2001. i dunno. i just remember that one set where he opens with the late night dub and then mixes into the original mix.. and then the whole crowd goes nuts when the kick comes in, and, and.. but i digress.
so i guess nothing live is all good. i dunno. do what you want, it seems to work for you |
