One of my favorite aspects of DJ'ing is when I find a tune that I think has a really awesome percussive line to it (or some other small element in it that I really like), but is otherwise a complete piece of , and I find a way to use only the section I like while completely axing the .
/random as .
Ozgur Can's mix of John Dahlback - Blink is the tune in question BTW. ;) |

i'm thinking about getting new windows for my house. i know its expensive as , but maybe i'll just get like 1 or 2 done. the windows i currently have do not have screens on them, and they are cheap plexiglass that does nothing for keeping A/C in / heat out. all i want is to get some good insulated windows so i can get the maximum use of my A/C during the day, and be able to put a fan in them during the overnight hours (without bugs coming in).
anyone ever do something like this before? my folks did it w/ home depot years ago |

i've had experienced this twice. they really aren't that expensive to tell you the truth. the first time i did it myself(3 windows), and the 2nd time i got a company to do it, because they gave me a good discount for the windows and their installation fee was decent(it was around 10 windows total). i am sure you can find 2 quality windows total less than $150. |

i just got back from home depot...i'm going to have someone come out and measure and give me prices...but from what i was looking at, each window was around (on average) $140...but i think my windows are different sizes, so we'll see. |

DirecTV HD is a scam :o
Allow me to explain:
They advertise packages starting at $29.99 plus $9.99 for the HD service. Not too shabby right? In this same advertisement they boast 74+ HD channels...more than cable. Woo!
The $29.99 package is like 25 channels of "family & kids" programming...and it's garbage. Like stuff NO ONE would ever watch :wtf: So the next package up, with channels worth a damn (basically basic cable plus some extra stuff) is $50! So really for ME it would be $60 a month for HD...not bad I guess...throw in the $14.99 for HBO, another $14 for Setanta Sports, PLUS another $5.99 for the DVR service...it's like $95! LAME! |

DishNetwork ftw.
Actually, I don't know how much the HD would cost on it, probably around that same price. And Setanta is extra of course :whip: It's ALWAYS extra and after GolTV (spanish, not the english one, have you heard the commentators??? they ing suck), it's probably the only good sports channel on DN. |

| no dude, i could have told you that. I pay $99 for 78 channels of cable and high speed internet. full service 24/7 regardless of weather, and crystal clear picture. i've got 40 music channels on top of that as well. way better of a deal than any dish network , no matter what. |
