So about two hours before the end of shift, things are going normal. wind warnings are out - timing seems to be going good.
one hour before shift change. things are fine.
30 mins before, KLTS hits 47 KTS :wtf: . like 15 mins after the warning was out [they desire 90 minutes]. awesome. issued svr watch.
shift change blew ass because the ing internet stopped halfway through it. awesome.
i'm leaving my building and realize, i don't have shoes for PT. awesome.
so i race home, i'm changing IN MY CAR into my PTs so i can race in, grab shoes, race out. i do that. get about 4 blocks away from base. ran out of gas. .
I ing RAN OUT OF GAS:mad::mad::mad:. how the does that happen. i should have had at least 10-20 more miles left. so i called up road side assistance, an hour later ( ), they get me one gallon. i miss PT, get more gas at the petrol station, and come home.
check the weather. KLTS hits 52 KTS . unless they upgraded to the warning, that would be a miss on svr :whip:. IXD/MCI/STJ had freezing rain. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK that's three misses on winter precip :whip::whip:. un ing believable. when it rains, it pours. im so pissed.
and what the , when i pull into my driveway, i look at the ground and in the beads of water, there's a footprint. yes a footprint. a bare ing foot! :wtf::wtf: who the was walking around my house in the middle of the night BAREFOOT :nervous:
what a ty morning. its 10am. i'm going to bed. and i have to work tomorrow. its my last day. and then i get a break. and i ing need one really bad. |
Be happy you aren't in St. Louis. KSTL hit 71 this afternoon. When I made this map - it was only a 50ish degree drop in 6 hours . It is now 16°F. Now that is ty.
