I'm not sure there's any feeling near as satisfactory as having a professor give a long explanation prior to an exam that people shouldn't worry, there's always a curve, and it's based on the highest score achieved so no one should be concerned because people don't get perfect scores on logic exams - and then proceeding to get a 105% on the exam (they're graded immediately, 10% possible extra credit).
I can't decide whether I feel vindicated for breaking the mold or guilty for ruining the curve, but either way - I thought I'd maybe get an 85-90%, so I'm happy.  |
