ask if they can prove the speedgun was calibrated properly, tell them exactly that it was not speed and put a complaint in about him ;) |

No no no. The thing is that there was not a police officer around when the accident happened. Two of the most-used speed traps are right before where the accident occurred, and there were no cops at any of them that day. No police officer was anywhere near the accident until about ten to fifteen minutes after it occurred, and the only reason he showed up was because the driver of the SUV called 911.
The police officer has absolutely zero proof that I was speeding. None at all. |

then take his badge! Our local police are ****s too, gave a guy a criminal record and a fine because his bin wasn't shut properly in the latest case of 'crime fighting' yet none of them are around when the knivings are going on :rolleyes: |

wow , life sure does suck for you doesn't it? i mean, jeez, $170 that's like totally the end of the world...man, life's just awful!
at least you still have your license and you can still drive. i didn't update my tags for an out of state license plate in time, and i lost driving priveleges for SIX ING MONTHS (plus pay to get the tags put on late). i didn't get into an accident, i wasn't drnk. i wasn't speeding. i didn't endanger anyone's life. all because of some document that was expired.
be thankful you didn't injur anyone (or yourself) majorily and that no one is suing you for damages because of "wreckless" driving. :rolleyes: |
