Going though the "Old Sh>t" thread in AU-TA Narcy posted this-
It kind of makes me sad in a way 'cause it was around that era I think trance was really at a definitive point of happy-plur kittens, meow, meow dance dance dance, that I liked the most.
It's just steadily managed to suck a bit more ever since...
(Yes, I'm extremely jaded, I've had a massively crap week)
Real techno...
There was my pick-
...which coming into the early 90's was where techno/trance started to mix and make goodness.
Course, when someone smacked the noob-tree and people like Eviltree fall out of it pretending to tell me about real techno I kind of gets a bit sick... :p hehe! :haha:

Was it Arsenal's first squad or what? I can't imagine they'd give up a goal to Chivas :p

Yeppers, it's got a degree of softness and subtlety which seems to be lost on the current crop of producers who get a vox track and lay down some saws and beats behind it with all the tact of a drunken bull elephant.
Lot of that has to do with the more 'hard' lines of trance floating around which just seem to mangle everything they touch.

not sure who the vocalist is but i bet she is an established singer, which is what is another key to making an awesome vocal tune.....
dont know why they keep recycling the same old tired birds, so mundane

Oh, they do sound so very, very tired... like, please go to sleep now, there's obviously something wrong with you not actually putting any effort into whining for 5 minutes.
And on that note I'm firing up Far from the Maddening Crowds and going back to my happy cave where things didn't suck so much all the time.
