Sure, such as?
If you're wondering why we're about to break up:
Although we like one another very much, and have both great communication skills, we're way too different in many aspects. I'm extremely individualistic, she'd rather go with the crowd; I'm theoretical, she's pragmatic; I'm outgoing, she's shy; I'm always trying to see things on the bright side, and she's always trying to fix everything; I'm stable, she's insecure; I embrace the different, she criticises whatever isn't the standard for her... and, because I'm so diametrically opposed to what she's used to, she's always complaining about my behaviour, whereas I seek to accept her as she is. But, it's been quite hard for me to deal with this because she also sees me as being better than she deserves, and try thus to lose me so she doesn't have to cope with the fear of, well, losing me =/
In the last couple of months, she asked me to break up with her 3 times, and most of these requests came out of the blue. This happened quite frequently a couple of years ago, when I almost cheated on her (but then realised I had to sort my problems with her instead of running away). However, after putting so much effort in the relationship, it gets annoying to know she's willing to throw it all away just because she's afraid it might not work... so I might as well just walk away anyway.
Thanks for sharing, I hope we can follow your steps :) | Bummer.. cheer up! There are more girls... in the oncean...
North Pacific Ocean for you :P |
