I think by now it's evident that he has a few screws loose if he wants to take legal action against TA. I mean really, what harm is it going to cause? It's not like he has his full name on the site, so he runs absolutely zero risk of being discovered by any employer who may want to Google his name. Kid needs to grow up, really. It's not funny, it's sad. |
obtained totally legally but http://www.jglasman.name/
the images in his sig link to it, his face is in his avatar, so i fail to see exactly how we can be seen to be harassing him :p |

So, random question.
Why isn't josh4 banned? Isn't that the reason Nou got kicked off? For making legal threats or something? |

It's crap is what it is.
By product of the US's popular predilection for getting a buck by 'being a victim', lack of personal accountability, responsibility and generally being a complete soft-skinned . Most of TA is liable to kick each other in the ass for fun and amusement, (in Jenny's case, there might be a finger involved as well... :nervous: ) but I honestly don't know how people get through life without surviving the odd razzing, hazing, biting and scratching that comes with human interaction.
(Along with the good things as well)
I'm just wondering how long it'll be before they start putting up cover-pages to website with the obligatory warning
"The internet might contain words and images that will cause you to cry"
A bit like how coffee in some restaurants ended up with disclaimers about it being hot, cruise control doesn't drive your car for you and sticking your arm into a lion or bear cage might get it bitten.
No one likes being picked on, but chances are for all the cotton wool mummy wrapped your dumb, public/home schooled ass in before punting you out into the big bad word, some things are common sense.
Coffee is hot
Cars don't drive themselves
Animals bite people
The world is full of bastards, s and idiots, chances are you'll meet some, chances are you are one and if you come in windmilling, chances are they aren't going to just let you keep hitting away...
Lots of people have been s to me on TA. In 7 years I kind of lost count of how many and there's only been one or two 'extra creepy and scary' individuals I ever had to report. The rest who are either bastards, s and idiots (and there are a lot of them here) I just stick on ignore if I think it's unwarranted and I didn't deserve being picked on or harassed by them. |

its true. modern day kids are growing up in such a pampered society...they are "protected" by from everything that's out there when they are in school...then they get to the real world, someone steps on their shoes, and they freak out.
i think we need to re-instate metal slides built into concrete playgrounds. that was purely survival of the fittest, at its finest. |

Yes, plastic ones don't have quite the same 'fun', goodness knows I've bullied the brats for my go first and it's just not the same :(
And those wheel things made of metal that spin around... they where great! All the fun of ferris wheel, vomiting, nausea and none of the safety features!!! |
