believe me. not hard. dad makes her bring every boy she goes out with home to meet dad. dad is answering the door with a gun. or hes drilling every guy with a bunch of questions that are very degrading. its pretty easy for a dad to make some young punk feel unwelcome and quit trying. :) |
glad i never met a dad like that!!! lol.
ps, i hope when i have kids, they're all boys. |

See, I can't argue with that because I didn't have the whole bring the boys home to a strict dad thing" it was always my mom, and my mom thinks everyone is golden. |

lol i wont be like that. to be honest i think thats ed up. mostly because your immediately thinking all guys are scum and that there isnt one good enough for your daughter. dont get me wrong though i think that a lot of guys are scum but you also have to draw the line somewhere on how far you are willing to go to shelter your children. one thing i wont do if i have kids is shelter them. i would have ground rules and all that but i am a reasonable person. those sorts of things arent done by reasonable people.

true true. i don't think i'd be that bad - i think i'd want to give my daughter as much freedom as possible, without going overboard.
i dunno tho, i'm assuming everything changes when you actually have a kid.
when my brother first brought home his daughter (my niece), and i held her in my arms, for a minute, it was a really cool feeling.
then she puked on me and i was like, ", get it away!!!!" LOL
just kidding, but i was kinda grossed out (while everyone thought it was 'cute') |

well it depends on if you had siblings and if you practically raised them or not. or even if you had siblings enough years younger than yourself that you were an instrumental part in raising them. this has a huge impact on your parenting skills and what not.

yeah, just had an older brother (8-9 years older than me, depending on the time of year). but we were so different, i only have a few memories of him acting like a "father" figure towards me. |

lol, sunburns do suck. i got a funny ass one when i was in florida last year for spring break.
i took sunblock lotion, put two small gobs on my hands, and just did two small smears down my chest - 30 minutes later, and i looked so rediculous, it was great.
ps, for a sunday night, its awful quiet in the c0r |
