which brings me to my day in Birmingham
the new parts of the centre are nice, although the food options are ty. Nandos, Mcdonalds, a french place an italian, a pie shop and something called 'eat' where everything including the juices had mayonaise or mustard on. Thankfully I found a "millies cookies" and was in heaven with white chocolate & cherry&almond flavours.
Now the bullring itself looks a LOT better in person than on that picture I put in a diff thread. It's actually quite good looking but it needs to be seen in proper daylight to appreciate the architectural side.
the people ranged from one lad who thought he was in london (talking to people trying to sell stuff, aight) and a lot of people who just barged their way around, with a nice interspersal of helpful happy people. Could've spent a ton on cds, esp stuff like daft punks 1st album, loadsa compilations from holden, albums from utah saints, adamski, guru josh, prodigy etc, but i didn't really have much to spend :(
and i think i caught a disease, my throat hurts now :( |
