I had a meeting with a Mr. Lopez, with the thickest Mexican accent that took everything in me not to want to laugh, today and we had a conversation that went something like this:
L-"Are you Jewish?"
T-"..no? Do I look Jewish?"
L-"You have...a Jewish...presence"
T-"Do you think I'm going to cheat you out of your money? Be cheap? Give you a dreidel?"
L-"I like you, you're funny"
T-"I'm also Jewish"
*bunch of laughter"

My grandmother died last year, and her best friend just sent my mother all her jewelery. She left me her gold charm bracelet, and it's got my great great grandmother's wedding band on it!
So cool. It's all 14k gold...probably worth a load of money, but to me the worth is that I have something that belonged to my grandmother...and great great grandmother! |
Nice :)

I absolutely can't stand people on bikes who don't obey the traffic laws.
Today when I was crossing a street in my neighborhood, I hear a faint voice to my left saying "Hold on! Hold on! Hold on!" I didn't see anyone to my left since I had my hood on and just kept on walking.Next thing you know, I felt a bump. As I turn around, I see this guy standing and his bike on the street. He screamed at me and said "Look what you did! I told you to hold on!"
Despite knowing I had the right of way (Walk sign was on as I was crossing) I kept my cool. I decide to be extremely polite to him. As I was pointing to the walk sign I shousted at him, "I had the right of way! You should pay attention to the signs, you dumbass!". I walked on my merry way. Didn't even think about bothering to pick up his bike. I'm lucky I didn't get hurt. I could care less if that ing retard got hurt or if his bike got damaged. |

idk when bikers got it in their head that they could be a car when they want and a pedestrian when they want, but it pisses me off.
here's a fun thing to do: when you see a biker being an or narrowly avoid htiting on (or in your case get hit by one) yell 'share the road' at them. idk if its the same there but there are loads of people who have 'share the road' bumper stickers, and its ironic how so many of them seem to think 'its my road you tard' |
