lol.
my brother used to work for them. I went to the office once. that place was a madhouse, even during off hours. nobody was there, but, with the one exception of his office, it was like the place was screaming at the top of its lungs. the whole floor was filled with cubicles which had more trinkets & signs & other random 'encouraging' nick-knacks than I had previously thought it possible to fit in a single city block. you could see more cardboard & plastic than carpet.
I kept making jokes about it while we were walking around, at all the 'you can do it,' 'be a star' and 'give it 150% today' banners & stuff. He went along with it the first couple jabs, then started getting annoyed.
his office, on the other hand, had a couple framed pictures on a big, dark wooden desk, a chair, a computer, and nothing else. I think I might know why he left. |
