The coverage with verizon is the best I've had/seen, but you pay for it, and the phone scenario sucks 'cuz of cdma. Cingular/att is just so bad, coverage & service wise, that it's even harder to justify going in that direction to save a couple bucks. tmobile has decent coverage, but in the places I need it, it's almost as bad as cingular. sprint/nextel just seems almost prohibitively expensive, and without much benefit. Kyocera (aka Qualcomm, the CDMA creator) makes the BEST CDMA chips out there. no other company makes such a solid communication chip when it comes to CDMA services. and for those that dont know Nextel = CDMA + iDEN. iDEN = walkie talkie feature. and the reason that nextel ONLY uses motorola is cause iDEN is proprietary to motorola and nobody pays licensing fees except RIM (the company that makes
