| I haven't stopped by Taco Bell in ages, and I'd forgot how tasty it was. I can feel my arteries clogging and my heart stopping as I type this. |

We don't have Taco Bell here. My arteries hate you. Sort of. |

Did you know, I've eaten all kinds of things, often against my better judgement in countries that had food standards roughly equating to 'hey, the axe was clean when we hacked it lifeless and twitching in front of you' (<3 Vietnam :p) and never gotten sick or so much as a tummy bug.
1 taco at Taco Bell
Close to Times Square or thereabouts for lunch in this supposedly 'developed' country which has more Mexicans than Mexico, they can't screw this up right?

Hey, you've got your tweaker-belle avatar again.
Yeah, Mexican food never really did it for me, but my gf totally loves it. The only Mexican place within, I dunno, 10km or more is SO HOUSE. And it's in a really swanky area, so they charge like a wounded bull too. |

I love Tinkerbelle :D
There was a place in Bondi that made the best mexican when I lived over that side of the bridge we'd all hop on the bus like this great big excursion of freaks/circus animals and go there on Fridays.
It's generally not too hard to make, though I've never actually been to Mexico or had it made by a Mexican so I'm doubtful how authentic it is :) |

Lol at 'freaks/circus animals.'
We sometimes make burritos or something but I don't think I've ever followed some kind of 'authentic recipe' even? I highly doubt it's anything like the Mexican stuff :haha: |

Vodka drip saves poisoned tourist
Australian doctors used an intravenous feed of vodka to keep an Italian tourist alive after he consumed large quantities of a poisonous substance.
The 24-year-old man, in an apparent bid at self-harm, had swallowed ethylene glycol, found in antifreeze, which can cause death.
Doctors administered pure alcohol, the conventional antidote, but exhausted the hospital's supply.
Desperate to continue the treatment the doctors at Mackay Base Hospital in Queensland state hooked up an intravenous feed of vodka, hospital officials said.
"The patient was drip-fed about three standard drinks an hour for three days in the intensive care unit," Todd Fraser said in a statement on Wednesday.
"Fortunately for him he was in a medically induced coma for a good portion of that. By the time he woke up I think his hangover would have well and truly gone," Dr Fraser said.
"The hospital's administrators were also very understanding when we explained our reasons for buying a case of vodka."
The Italian man was treated in the hospital two months ago and has since made a successful recovery. News of his treatment was released only on Wednesday.

Hell, they should've at least claimed they needed two or three cases and made off with the rest. |
