| I had AT&T, too. I had an NEC phone for a few years and it served me well, but the reception was always spotty--especially while I was at school. I didn't get half the calls, and when I did, I had to go huddle next to the window to hear people on the other end. One day, I called for a cab, and, after waiting 15 minutes longer than they'd said, I finally went outside, only to find the guy sitting there. He said he'd called me about 5 times, but no answer, so I had him call me again--now sitting in the cab. It didn't even ring. I switched to Verizon the next week, and no regrets so far. The EV-DO is great, and I get it all over the damn place. |
