| Tomorrow is 'things could go to crap day' so any bit of slow and quiet will be welcome wherever I can find it. I see myself getting about 2 days off out of the next 14 either way :( |

Doh.
So what 'could go crap'? Or, just the 2 days off in 14 thing? |

Oh, probably one of the biggest financial things in my life, either it'll happen or it won't, if it doesn't I'll just have to find other ways of getting some cash.
Either way, I'm probably still going to end up working with reviews and crap, least HRH is also buried in study so it's not like there's any 'quality time' to be had anywhere |

I wish you luck then :)
I'm not sure what you mean by "working with reviews (and crap)" though? |

During my mid-year or so campaign of terror, aka- 'staff performance assessments' there's all kinds of crap to be pushed through HR in terms of pay etc. (maybe even some spankings too)
Then they're going to drag in the finance people, who will bitch and moan about parting with one red cent and generally bore me senseless stringing out the whining for about, oh a week or so. After all that, then they're going to come back to me and say 'make them work better', which 3-4 years ago I might have actually given a damn about sales training, but now I don't because it's tedious and frustrating dealing with ADD spastics day in and day out who's main focus in life is 'ohh look, shiny durrrrh? huh?'
Course some smart arse will inevitably pipe up with 'well why don't you go sell some stuff nernernerny-ner-ner' and I'll start fidgeting around in my handbag for my pistol to contemplate blowing fist sized holes in them for being smarmy, realise in frustration that I don't have it any more.

That's why people buy cars, only reason you should be on a bus is if you're too smashed to drive :p

i need to get a license & start lessons first :p just before i was old enough to get my license here (17) I did some big damage to my back playing football attempting an overhead kick. was in pain for months, then just as it went away, i redid it attempting a silly burm* where I catapulted myself over my handlebars & into a tree, and pulled the same set of muscles again (lower back from just above the arse to under back of the ribcage) and then i slid into the rut im just working myself out of now.
*(Burms are banked corners, they enable you to hit a turn at high speed and also more importantly to be able to carry that speed with you when you exit that corner. You should try and get your self and the bike at right angles to the burm, see Craig in the picture. Simple really, the hardest thing is getting your entry and exit points correct, they should flow naturally. Don't look at the burm as you rail through it look ahead where you are going and don't forget to put the power on. If your not happy pedalling keep that out side foot down and relax, don't forget to look at the exit point of the burm and beyond as you sail through at mach 10.) |

yeah public transport is poo.
TransAdelaide is the worlds most useless organisation, their train system is craptacular. We've only got about 4 lines and they still can't run a service which is almost reliable. |
