| Paulino, I have to agree with optik, your sound design is great, so is your mixing. But there are some melodic parts clashing with each other. |

| The bassline still sounds off. |

How about now?

I think the mixing and sound design are pretty good. I listen to a lot of WIPs and yours is on the more pleasant and balanced end. However it is a safe song and it isn't incredibly original. I don't know how much of it is loops or whatever, but all I can say is not bad, but there is a lot of room for creating a more sophisticated song structurally and musically. |

Here is a link to my entry to the Gareth Emery "Eye of the Storm" remix competition (I don't think I can embed it). I posted it less than 24 hours ago and yet have made it to the most listened page (when you can see 50) so I hope to stay on that page the rest of the competition and move up. I ultimately stayed close to my original structure when I posted it as a WIP, because I structured it to flow with the vocals and my first instincts on how it should sound. I went for a soft dynamic mix. Overall I am happy with the end result because I feel it is an improvement on previous songs I have made, and that is what is most important to me at this point (though winning would be cool too!).

Here's my fav WIP so far. I easily reverse engineered two basslines for this one from a classic thrillseekers tune from back in the day.
