Huuuge sound mate, liking, maybe all instruments ought to follow the minor keys though.

I always programme as I go, until your post I never considered there was another way!

Anyway get it done, who knows it might be played out by A&B.

Thing is I've made so many presets now (maybe 1500 or more) that I usually skim those or just use other peoples as it's quicker. Then I realise it's not because by the time I've tweaked them I might as well start from scratch anyway.

Sounds real old schooly imo. reminds me of yahel, but with a gouryella twist. the first little riff (00:16) is a tad too loud imo, and that mad goa saw could maybe do with a little less bottom. the notes it played felt a little odd the first seconds but then it fell into place as the riff concluded or wtf the term is.
other than that.. more bass?
and maybe try doing a mid part where you take away all the synths and change up the bass a bit, then a tiny breakdown and bring back all the synths to a third bassline variant. kinda reversed yahel, or something.

Here's something I've been working on..
Hoping for some hardcore hate for this one :)

Just the type of track I love driving round London to.
Don't like that acoustic guitar the peeps in towards the end.
That synth that comes in in the last section s nice but don't overdo it or it will get fatiguing - I would suggest leaving as it is for 8 or 16 bars and then making it an intermittent stab for a while.
Mix sounds good on small pc speakers here at work.

yeah not bad - it does sound like a lot of the trancey stuff already out there though, that would be my only criticism :-/

The synth that comes in at the last section? You mean that filtered chord stab thats faded in from about 1:02?
the guitar pluck is actually playing from the very start.. have it layered with that delay'y bass pluck that sounds like rubber..
No comments on the vocals? :P Or are they still too filtered to be recognizable? Planning on releasing them full on somewhere along the last 3rd of the track.

I started this one a few months ago. Much more progressive than a lot of the stuff I have put up recently. Plan on working on it a little bit here and there for a while longer.

That atmospheric pad you have in the beginning; I would drop that completely on the first drop.

Nice fx at 1:59

like the heavy verb build up

Dunno if to add pads in the final part where vocals are.

Track needs a sick bassline.

yeah love this sounds like an awesome start defo go for the release mate your wasted just doing preset packs

theres something not musically right to me, like rich says, your in G minor but adding that b natural (instead of b flat) on the second bar of your 2 bar melody is just throwing things ou a bit and just sounds wrong to my ears really.

for example changing the notes simply to C D E flat sounds better in a way cos its in key.

That is IMO of course you may not agree

i would love to hear some key changes later on where the bass changes key, and the melody reflects that

no time to listen to anything else ATM will later :)

Thanks chaps, for all the comments.

Whilst I can see what you're saying about the melody, I don't think it's 'wrong'. I think it resolves itself ok. Saying that, if enough of you don't like it I'm not going to leave it in there for the sake or artistic whimsy :p

Plus I realised I've ripped it from that Oakenfold Full Moon Party track a little

This isn't the kind of stuff I usually listen to but there's some cool shizzle in there. The bassline in particular is very nice. I think the kick is a little too flabby right now and the mids could probably come forward a little, but it's grooving already.

cool man, bass is pretty nice and warm. the mids seem to be hiding way in the back though. cool groove but a bit repetitive, especially at first. percs could be a bit more interesting. bass is cool like i said but seems to dominate the track.
