sounds great, me likey bass!
only thing I can detect is that you need a meatier snare / clap with more body because it making your percussion sound paper-thin. |

Sounds solid with the intro. Bass is too loud on my headphones. I would go for a different sound & pattern with the bassline I think.
The piano melody @ 1 minute mark feels a bit farfetched and the sound doesn't appeal to me too much. All the other sounds are enchanting.
2min mark when it comes together you lost me. Doesn't happen too often with your clips I must say.
I've been at it too. The first three clips are new. I need to start finishing some stuff. Will happen again one day.
1st is the first where I feature my own voice (heavily edited surely), even if only spoken. I need to think of more lines :p
2nd is an attempt to play with vocoder and voice of my son
3rd is just dnb-ish noise :) |

034 - Deephousechordje - It's a pretty cool track, but if I had a chance to change/adjust something it would be the hats, which are a bit too loud for my taste.
035 - Virtualriotniet - This is my favorite; nice and catchy melodic line with soothing sound/s all over it; not much to add or change (oh, maybe a kick if I'm being picky lol).
Badf - Guite intriguing production which has well controlled energy and dynamics, could be a strong release!
Detroit Vanilla - I think you already know my opinion on it and at some point you should really start to finish some of your concepts (guilty as charged).
de-gangsters-op-de-laan.mp3 - Even this one deserves a look as, in my opinion, it has a lot of potential with additional melodic development. Sounds are quite well selected and, structurally, they are put well together.
Those are only my $0.02 and personal opinion so don't take it hard lol.

I'll reply on #3. First start of the track and the impression is a Liquid D&B but then transforms into something else as if you couldn't make up your mind on which way to go. Or, perhaps that IS the way you wanted it to go but yet still sounds confusing and was hoping it would stay Liquid with some lush tones and a heavy back end.
Production is nice,as usual

Still working the percussion but hopefully to your ears, it sounds a tad better

Liking the arp. The piano feels rather artificial. Could be helpful to introduce slight timing differences and velocity to make it seem more natural. The last piano chord in the pattern feels like a miss, offkey.
At the 2 minute mark I'm waiting for a strong lead. There's a bunch of arps and plucky stuff of which the last two chord progressions feel rather uncomfortable to my ear... And, oooh there it is at 2:30! The lead. That part I like.

Sorry for sooooo late comment lol - In my honest opinion, I would very a bit of melodic development by adding some interesting sounds /instrument to it and I would really try to cut at least one of those arps for more space in eq. Some orchestral elements are really nice addition to this track which definitely needs some of those moments.

Well now, talk about a crazy last few weeks and still can’t get a breath.
Sorry I haven’t responded it’s just been nuts.
So , this track Occidental has been a little odd on the creative side. The more I did the more I realized it was becoming a vocal track. I went as far as to inquire about it and may have a female vox over it. With that said, through its course, I have purposely not added elements in hopes that some vox can go over it.
If you re evaluate the track….well, there is no sense actually because you guys can’t hear my vision on it. But trust me when I say that the vox will fill in those voids |
