Do you think I've gone too heavy with reverb and layering of the synths in the drop, THAT I LACK MAKING A VERY FOCEUSED CLEAR ACCESIBLE STATEMENT as a result?
The bass I was thinking was not quite on point, but personally I like the notes and timing used. |

Jesse it is not what I would normally listen to but the quality of your production is really up to the standard of today House music - interesting take in some parts of your track which works with overall flow man - cool work ;)

just no space in the track at all, i found it hard to listen to as a result - the bassline after the break just doesnt work for me, sorry
like i said earlier, it has potential, i like the progression i think its catchy |

nice and loud bro :) pretty solid mixing but when the drums come in maybe missing a bit of sub? or maybe could notch down a bit in the 1k area a bit? seems a bit over present in that area

yeah doesn't really "connect" with the bass once it drops in, I think the mixing scheme for the break might not work for once the drums come in, i doubt you'd have to re-work much but that's for you to ponder |

Just to say that I was worry about your bass line and how it sounds in the mix but after listening for a few times its started to make sense why you driving it the way you do lol - just need a bit more development but so far sounds promising :D

That's what I was talking about. The breaks at the right moment, and they really fit and feel coherent. You have variation, but consistency as well. The right balance between expected and unexpected/predictable and unpredictable.
Now there are left some little details to work on, and if you manage to overcome them you'll be at 90% ready to conquer. |

well I quit smoking for a while, like a year, and have done a lot of work without it. I didn't want to *have* to smoke weed just to work on music, it is a little unprofessional (unless you're snoop dog), I mean if I could afford to have chronic every day then that might work. but after taking that break, smoking and being able to just work on something without it feeling even slightly forced, is nice. I don't have the before and after but all the nitty gritty and deep work I did on this last track was thanks to that weed, luckily everything just flowed organically. |
