Oh man! That Arp! Really REALLY dig that Arp, nice opening of that filter.
0:45 mark when the percussion hits. That floor on the floor sample has a background white noise going with the ride cymbal. It is overtaking the entire track.
Imho if you are going for that style of a track, you should build the percussion to a point where you are getting all that atmosphere. Start with just a kick and let it ride for 8-16 measures, then add a subtle high hat and keep adding and looping elements into it.
The saw wave stab you are using for your Lead is to prominent and although a nice use of the filter cutoffs the dry tone at the beginning really absorbs any atmosphere you have.
My suggestion is to go back in and work with that Arp..it is very dynamic. I'm willing to say if you treat that ala Eric Prydz and just put a really solid percussion track behind it that it would power itself. |

Hey, thank you for listening and for comments! Will try to play more with just the arp. |

I like it, the synth sounds nice whatever you used
just need to add some pads or a lead or something, its got a nice kind of feel to it! |

Been a bit of a nice break...Just got back from work...Started fiddling around with a drum machine out of boredom. Thought...hey, cool groove, lets add a bass...one thing leads to another...
About 30 mins later, got a fun little wip...
Minimal mixing effort, no real transitions yet, but I have some ideas...Toying around with things a bit still. Kinda like it though...bit different than what I normally make.

Likewise, nice groove. Melody not doing much for me though. Doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the mix. |

Thanks, yeah, there was a lot of imagination involved yesterday when i thought that brass section works. With some tweaks maybe. |
