Is this drop ok without hatz or should I add some?

Sounds fine without hats to me. I like chopped voices you have, bass, it has a groove. First 4 bars of melody (0:46 - 0:52) are nice to me then it goes in different direction than i would like. Snare transition from 1:22 - 1:38 is not my favorite too, but that's more a general dislike about that kind of transitions than a critique of your track. |

Hi Richard,
First of all, really nice melodic concept man (it is along my line of liking lol) - nicely crafted sound with cool and catchy melodic development. As far as first break, hmm you may have to work it out a bit different way (for me at lease) to sustain this awesome vibe - also in second part of your WIP I can only hear kick but no drums elements anymore so I would work some more to expose them a bit more as they will drive your vibe and add nice driving groove - my $0.02
Cheer mate,

Lets start with this - drums are well defined and in my view don't need too much of work (maybe just only blending or gluing it with the rest could add some more benefits) - the rest is really hard to judge as your sound choices are not the best at the moment + your overall soundscape is really flat and this doesn't help with my listener experience ;)
Cheers,

Here is a bit of change direction for me lol - a little chillout work to get my mind of EDM/Dance genre - what do you guys think?
Any comment is appreciated :)

Nice work and decent drums
Maybe put some automated nice shiny delays coming in and out on the arp to sound like little birdies chirping |
