pretty good Juan, i like the stabs and stuff that comes in as the track progresses
Not sure on the kick, would like it to thump a bit more maybe? Also try not dropping the kick out in that first breakdown, maybe just highpass a bit instead, so the energy is retained, you can always drop it out later
nice overall though, even if im not into that sound anymore
Thanks evo, Yeh i can always add more thump to the kick. I'v seen this particular kick drop in many tunes so i replicated, perhaps its not good on mine, thats why i need second ears. :)
I made it really quickly, started it out with a 1/16 kick loop and added the rest in then progressed from there. Its a lot of fun. :P

final one for the weekend, hope to work on this tomorrow some more
not sure on the kick, may try changing it (hate that)
Nice kickdrum, stabs are warm and nice. Very interested on how it progresses.

Dood...Richard...love the transition. It is getting better and better!

Sorry guys this jus came out of nowhere and reminds me of driving at night.
Mix only done on little pc speakers so far so it's probably iffy.

I doubt very many people on TA like the genre of this track but if anyone has any feedback on how I can improve I appreciate it:
Bet this was fun to make. A good one to dance to - I don't like those kinda offbeat snare sections as it gets too cluttered - maybe use different snare sounds and a different pattern to maintain the groove better?
Like some of your riser sounds etc. Good mixing as ever.

I had a feeling the breakdown was lame and plodding. Mmm any thoughts what to do for the breakdown as I'm numb?
I know what happened - that break synth sounding great in the studio as everything was rattling (even my stomach) and so I just got carried away.

listening to this again really nice production on this, drums sound nice and upfront, maybe a tad too much reverb on the snare (nitpicking)
the whole synth progression in the break doesnt sit right imo - what to do? not sure, maybe just some pads in a progression similar to the bassline? then kill the pads and drop it back in??

Agree, sounds interesting already and if I could add some more excitement to this track I would add (maybe 2) bass lines and interplay them with your main synth (not low bass but rather mid bass, maybe even some morph mid bass) - but this need to happen in second part of your track Richard.
Thanks,

Chill house track I started yesterday, mix is very rough
Let me know what you guys think

Sako - that's a killer track. Love the use of pumping here. Vocal maybe could be a bit clearer.
