| I've changed the drums and some other things. Hey, maybe Joel will reply now. Common dude, don't be like that :) |

This sounds spectacularly beautiful, love the bass drum, percs and pads you got going on, love to know where and how it ends :)
In this [wip] I finally pulled the plug and subscribed to splice for 8 bucks, I remember Lira back then making a thread on it. All I can say its def a great investment and I think I just hit tip of the ice berg with just samples, its like you can pick the best clips from each sample cd instead spending like 70$ on each onewithout knowing what your gonna get.
Also there are synths and synth presets also that I haven't dabbled in yet. Anyhow I managed to finish the BT prog breaks rework in several hours with my crescendo, yeah you guess no key change yet still, I didn't want to conflict with the cello and violin in the background, so I tried.
Now I'm ready to move on to new single after Dream Wave with a key change this time, so far its coming along nicely, started it last night.

your production quality has improved, no doubt, but your tracks still sound generally the same, maybe that's what you want?
why do you make music? answer that to yourself
to me, you have to go and make something different, something that you wouldn't normally make, do everything a different way, different kick, different drums, different bassline, different groove - basically change it way up
why? because this leads you down a different path, you will hear different things, come up with different ideas -you can always come back to making the stuff you normally make but you may find that you have a different perspective on music
deep dive underwater...come back up with fresh ideas, hope that helps (and wasn't too preachy) |

really nice Gordan - initially I think the pad is a touch too loud, like maybe 2db max, lovely sound though
pads like that take up a lot of room so you need to careful with eq/volume |

Ha! JOEL!!! Are you seeing this?! lol (he does peek in here every so often btw)
Imo this track is an untouchable. Sorry, just my opinion.
The reason I feel that way is because of the simplicity of the original. Changing ANYTHING in the lines of arrangement disrupts the integrity. Again, totally my opinion.
Secondly, the percussion offers no variance and gets stale due to the repetition.
I know it is probably fun to do and I have dabbled in trying to do some remixes of Deadmau5 but just found that it was better left alone..lol
No matter what I did it just sounded "off" and not saying that no one else couldnt do it justice, but I couldnt.
I also think that is why you dont hear many remixes at all from any song Joel does. Sure, there are some...but in comparisson to other producers? Not alot out there.
Sorry Gordan..just my feelings.

This Track. It is not danceable at all..lol I have been on my New Age trip as of late and came across an old project. This, oddly enough is a remix as well (never heard of a New Age remix before..lol)
This is actually an ode to an old producer by the name of Patrick O'Hearn. Besides his solo material, he used to be in a 80's synth rock band called Missing Persons. Always loved his stuff and always wanted to do my own "reboot" of this track.
At the moment I would say it is about 90% complete. I need to tighten some areas up but other than that it is nearly completed.
I guess I am just looking for over all thoughts. I know it is not your normal track submission here but..changing it up

this is really cool! - just watch your levels as it seems to be distorting at the high energy parts
love it though |

No that helped alot, from what I learned this is all youtube stuff except for the prog breaks that was simple jamming, but prog trance all I know one way to do it Evo. I need to somehow teach myself on different patterns and variation of structure and arrangement imo, you are def right on that subject, thanks for that. Hmm maybe if I can get in touch with Oldschool artist like Starecase or Evolution who help me with pointers or ideas that would be beneficial. My next wip will be different.. ima try my best, cheers for the honest feedback. |

This is just pure beautiful Systematic although I do agree with Evo8 on the distortion but that can be easily fixed. The pads and melody are just sublime, nicely done. |

Sounds really nice, good work Phil. If i was picky, and i'm not, then i would say that on flute like sound at 0:34 - second and third note could be a little bit different or with different space between them imo. Other than that everything is as i would try to do. |

I particularly like the section from 2.32, this whole piece speaks of the era when synths were being discovered, good work. Yes a bit distorted. |

I've been asked for an EP but I don't know which of my DnB tracks to work on for this.
Is this one worth finishing, don't say it is unless you really think so!
Thanks for the nice comments on my recent signed remix.
Cheers, my annoying self.

I don't like that break at 1:25. Imo, you should cut from break to 2:04, and loop more part from 2:16 - 2:27 (end of that part is a bit confusing to me). All imo. |
