Beautiful piece Gordan. Has got an 80's vibe that resembles the likes of Tangerine Dream.
Personally, I like the percussion. It adds an element but honestly man if you took out that percussion and added little mini glitch percussive tones ...man what a dreamy track dood.

| 🦉 A lot of my attempts lately to use AI mix tools like Neutron are giving me worse results, lol. Think it might be that I am trying to create EDM/Country fusion but the AI thinks I'm trying to make rock or pop. It completely took out the bottom end of my bass. |

🤠 We all have the wrong idea about Skynet. The Terminator movies were just exploring what would happen in certain scenarios before they install the real Skynet. As demonstrated in the movies there were vulnerabilities in the design for a resistance movement to infiltrate & annihilate the system.
🦉 The new & improved Skynet will be inside us. That's why they are pushing vaccines. The vaccines will contain nanoparticles that will meld with our minds, creating a worldwide processing network that harnesses our brain power. The human brain's inherent creativity copacetic with precise calculations of machines.
🐻 You. Me. We. Are Skynet.
🦉 That Harvard Professor that got arrested this year for secret dealings with the CCP, he's into nanotechnology. It's not science fiction anymore. We won't get flying cars. But we will have nanotech & cybermods. His name was Charles Lieber.
🐻 Imagine if we could tell our brains to release serotonin all day via Blutooth without having to take molly. |

Final Edit with last minute additions and changes....over this track. Ears are so fatigued

🐻 Binaural Fantasy sounds like the sort of music you’d find on Ridge Racer, like when you cross the finish line.
🦉 I think it’s a lil too busy in the mids, that’s why you’re getting fatigued listening to it. You can probably take out the keys when your lead melody comes in (or alternatively mimmick the lead melody instead of playing that chord pattern) & then use more of those atmospheric swooshes. Ride the low-pass filter on the lead synth to give it some movement. Try swapping the lead synth for a smooth bass in some sections so that the melody gets played an octave lower & alter a note or two to subvert your expectation. But if you can find a creamier sounding lead, that'd also help. |

Gave up on it tbh. I learned from it and that is important but I just had heard it to many times. Over it..lol

🦉 Okay, do this. Whatever is your favourite synth, buy a new preset pack for it in the genre you want to make & use them. Or get a new VSTi. I picked up a couple of new ones at Plugin Boutique. One was a modular synth & completely free & the other was $4.99. Make a killer groove first. Bass & beats. Save it as a template. It's easy enough to alter the bass to new chord progressions. Then just surf the synth presets for an interesting, uplifting-sounding lead. Use sounds that chirp, squeal & scream.
🐻 I'll be listening to Tay's new Folklore album all weekend. This girl is on fire. |

more ear rape, also I ruptured my right eardrum so im going mono for a while. |
Ahh man, you gotta take good care of yourself :(
Not sure what you're looking for in terms of feedback. Choosing triplets over a sidechained bass takes some time getting used to.
I love the pads you have going on but the rest really needs to claim their space in the mix. The bass is too loud, kick probably too soft. Same goes for the hat.
The document 17 posted earlier is a lot better, concept and mixwise if you ask me. I would love to hear it progress!

Neighbor tried to catch me off guard putting a vocal in a project before I got into his studio a few weeks ago. This is me getting payback by making it an actual version of the track :D
So I'm just messing about at home and trying to make it go crazier as it goes along. I'm intending to put pitch delay madness on the vocal near the end of the clip. Time will tell.
The original will most likely see a release somewhere. Would be lovely to get this crazy cut on there as well just to piss him off haha.

I'd like to hear more complex hihats/percs with that kick pattern. The standard offbeat thing sounds pretty odd paired with that. |

Can`t say I agree about that. Would probably prefer the version without the vocals though =) Even though they do fit in some strange way. |
