sounds good to me, nice mix, nice and loud, solid groove. sounds very "analogue"
kick and bass working nice IMO.
sorry im always saying the same thing, but id lose the vocals they just dont quite fit the vibe imo and sound a bit cheesy in my subjective opinion. i'd look for some vocal samples, maybe from a movie or something, maybe pitch them right down. if you want to keep them id look at pitching them so in key, heavy processing. atm they sound "stuck on" to my ears
not familiar with techno really, but mix seems a little bottom and top heavy you may want to try bring out the mids a bit more, and some more fx stuff happening in the background could be cool

Rich, buddy, it's a nice groove at the start, but then at 0:44 you start doodling with that stab imo :)
Yes I think so too - the age old 'bloke noodling in a synth shop' problem, lol
, production is one of the hardest hobbies in the world eh
My mate takes time out of it to do his easy hobby - Astronomy.

Big bassey kicks.......?????
How big, how bassey?
Quite a common feedback comment is that a kick is not big / deep / bassey enough.
People like Joris Voorn say many tracks sound bad in the club as the kick is over-powering.
I often try and keep my kicks quite tame with this in mind but when I post up a WIP here I get the feedback the kick needs to have more low end, and be generally 'bigger'.
So the question is this; When u guys say make the kick bigger with more bottom end, are u mindful this could swamp the track in a club?
I notice in the car many tracks have too much kick and it sort of renders the bassline a bit undefined and hard to pick out.

Personally, I think it comes down to personal preference.
Check this vid out of Joel and Steve Duda. They address some of these issues. (around the 2:10 mark)
