Teaming up with Horse to make it a Horse & Knitter track instead of just Storyteller. He did the (real Fender) Rhodes and Prophet additions. Still struggling with the mix to make all elements shine. It feels a bit flat at some parts. Not yet sure what the issue is, will be adding & subtracting instruments at some point to see how to create more space.
Note to self: Need to louden the rhodes lead during 1m7s and 4m20s marks.
Muy Bueno!
I cant tell you how much I love the little hook that has he balearic tones in it, ing awesome melodies throughout...
EVerything flows perfectly. I can hear what notes are coming in before you play them and they neither seem generic nor cliche even though they are not surprising me when they come, since they follow the formulas very well. the surprising part is how well the jazzy rhodes fit with the progressive hook that comes in that makes me want to smile from ear to ear.

Ow wow thank you :) I still haven't progressed on the earlier snippet. Holidays and stuff and want to wrap it up with mister Horse and his studio.
Another generic thing but might be worth persuing.
Edit: Pulling an MSZ here. It's gone.

After few days of brake I finally had couple of hours of studio time - something chill and smooth but hopefully dynamic and catchy lol
Haven't been by in awhile, hope things are well...recent tunes from the last few pages sounding good! Sounds like that Gordan100 fella been making some good progress since I've last paged through here.
Got one maybe worthy of sharing, inspiration been few and far between these days unfortunately. First time messing around with basic live vocal samples. Mostly custom sounds this time around from sylenth / spire, so that was fun/inspire'ing. Still finessing the FX in the breakdown to tie them together into something more coherent, and pondering how to end it. (Maybe as is, is fine...)

Sounds good! The ending is a little too abrupt but if you fade it out slower maybe it will be ok. Nice progression of the melody and good work on the FX.

Thanks for listening! Appreciate the feedback. Yeah, I'm not super stoked about a simple fade-out either. Though I think melodically that point is the resolution. Will think of something...

Pretty quiet over here lol - let see if someone is still around. Just as a teaser (and who knows, it may end up to be release lol)

Nice and sweet start! The Darek superstereo bass is there. Cool pads... Smoothe vibe. Seems like there is panning automation on the hats. It's too much for my liking on the headphones. Cool arp lead.
It's really the good stuff. It's just a bit too much variation with leads, so my main feedback is the same as always. I feel there might be better ways to have these leads take over more fluently.

I can copy paste Darek's text. Will probably be a release at some point. Need to find a couple of variations and I can probably ride this track out....

This is pretty funky stuff man, I really like this hybrid approach with house and Ifunk grooves blend in it but yeah, I can see why your next part could be more challenging ;) - please let us know when you have more development in this production. So far so good for me - levels, balance, instruments/sounds selection are spot on!
