i like the atmosphere here, very nice
agree on the kick, not a fan
vocal fx are cool and overall mix is pretty tight imo
also it sounds in key so that's a big improvement :)
did you make/program the synths or are they loops??
i think it needs to go somewhere, you have the same loops looping in the background it needs a progression/movment
but in my humble opinion your really coming along so keep at it dude |

Thank you so much man...Synths are programmed by me, one Logic's own ES P synth, new logic 10's retro synth FM style and one virus TI lead (last one). |

guys i got the demo recording of the vocals back (she lives in another city so its a remote collab)
My honest opinion is im really not keen - there's a lot of tuning issues too. I quite like the verse ideas but the chorus sounds really out of tune to me and just not the feel i wanted
Im only posting this here cos im sure she wont see it - i wouldn't want to offend her with my opinions
I piad her upfront as well (im a noob at working with vocalists). From now on im recording all my own singers too
Whats your honest opinions guys??
Cheers

Really liked that, imo the singer sounds very nice, the chorus part maybe is a little out on some words, but when i listened to it it sounds like it is purposely half spoken for effect & not that she's going out of tune .. the part at around 2.02 sounds cool aswell. Overall very nice & funky |

Nice track, really liked the 1st minute with the atmospheres but was expecting a bigger bassline or something to come in at 1min mark! definitely has potential but would try and get a bigger bassline going to drive the track forward |

Been messing around with the midi of 3rd Moon - DNA and came up with this, just the main section & outro done yet, goes a bit strange after the melody just started messing with stuff, see what ye think ..
