dude, ure on a ing ENGLISH forum....if u dont understand THAT, how did u ever manage to decide on signing up here, more importantly, there ARE polish forums as opposed to an english one with ONE polish thread....
see man, thats the problem with polaks, always expecting another one to cater to them. |

im tired of this, i really am. i have two friends, and theyre my closest friends, theyre polish tho. I went out to a polish community "picnic & festival" type thing near guelph. Wow, u join a group of people, u say something, it goes unnoticed, noone cares. them i say, i never feel comfortable around them. |
it's cause Polaks on this continent start thinking they're hot or something because all of the sudden they're in a 1st world country. BUT, they move into a Polish community, make Polish friends, work for Polish people, put Polish stickers on their cars, play Soccer (thats like a requirement, cause any other sport sucks), and thats as far as their lives go. I'm like you, I barely hang out with any Polaks here, only 2 actually, the rest of my friends are from all over the place, China, Korea, Iraq, bla bla bla. I prefer meeting people from somewhere other than Poland...cause frankly, I can't stand Polish people here, they're so caught up in trying to be Polish its sad, in a way. Just go through Mississauga and count how many Civics/Integra's you see with a Polish eagle sticker on the back, or a POLSKA scarf on the back. Ugh...gimme a break! |

Exactly, i dont mind polish pride, its all within moderation, but those who do all the polska4lyfe pisses me off. Even when i go somewhere, some expect me to speak polish, as if, i moved out of poland when i was 2, then lived in greece for 3 years, now your in ing canada, so tough . I always tell em "kurwa, po angielsku nie umiesz?"
the civic thing is lame, i mean, its done to death. especially the polaks who try to be gino, omg, its hilarious....
i went to the polish day thing in august (i think it was august) omg....wow. its so overwhelming.
most of my friends are asian now, i dont mind it, theyre nice people, very relaxed. :) |

Ugh...gimme a break! | lol i was gonna do that for a while.. until i met the people who HAD DONE it and they were the biggest bunches of wannabe smartasses that i decided i wasnt gonna be one of them...
it's not something i am..and wouldnt stoop down to that level
i wanted to do it cuz i feel proud for being polish. we have some of the most beautiful girls, really smart people (scientists and etc), and a beautiful country... but because of the dumbass polaks that live outside of poland and DISRESPECT IT, everyone else disrespects it too...because no one is proud to be polish anymore. they'd rather backstab their country and their patriotism... just to be something they're not.. |

Yea check how funny this is though, it's an ENGLISH forum...and a bunch of Poles come here and already seperate themselves from teh rest by mostly posting in this thread...then say talk in Polish, cuz English sucks...well wake the up and realize if it wasnt for those english you wouldnt even be yapping on here...afterall this site is 70% english id say.
Oh and the thing about Poles trying hard to be Pole...I agree, instead of just being people and accepting others more, they segregate into their little packs...with their shaved nazi ing heads, stand around on street corners smoking butts all day, and that is what being Polish means to them...sometimes I just cant stand it. I understand the pride thing, that they come from the gutter..most do, but common..u gotta look past that most of the time |

| haha yeah exactly what i was saying in my ealirer post but i think it got not seen cuz we moved to the next page.
i dont mind speaking polish at home, i mean i mind it sometimes because its harder for me to get the same expressions im used to, BUT i will probably try and teach my children a second language (whether its polish or spanish) when i have some. it's good for them to know two languages and it'll make life easier in the future. learning other languages after that will be super easy, and they will definitley feel better about themeselves once they understand the true value of languages. |

like 90% of them are gino's here, thats why I can't stand them. "Ej starrry, jedziemy do Flight 2000?" *umc umc umc*
As for this thread, this thread wasn't made so we could seperate eachother from the rest of the forum. Most of us participate in all of TA, but since we don't have our own local forum, we decided to have that here...to just post general polish bull, talk about parties in Poland, and so on, and to just get an idea how many Polish people are on TA overall. |

when someone asks me what kind of people are poles, im telling them that they wouldnt like to know.
just look at this thread, it is an epitome of polish society(at leas the last pages), everyone is looking for a fight, how to make someone's else life worse
if you ever thought of visiting Poland, be prepared to be:
- robbed
- beaten up for nothing
- and other
it is sad, but is true
Poland is only for polish people, because they are full of themselves, and they are always complaing how bad is their live, they only complain, and, thats what they do
5% of the population is normal ...

would u marry a polish guy? | i dont know if i would... if anything only because my family is polish 100% as far back as they can remember... with SOME traces of russian or german i think... but far far back
it'd be cool to keep the bloodline going but im pretty sure mybro will marry a non polish girl and i think in poland, the bloodline goes through males.. so it wont count with me :p
im sure my parents would be happier if i married a polish guy cuz of the similar customs, and no language barrier... but i wouldnt choose a guy based on my bloodline. im gonna marry a guy that treats me right... not because he's a pole. |
