Goed nieuws voor de mensen die op kerstdag eens goed willen feesten na al die saaie familiefeesten. Op donderdag 25 december presenteert Club X een nieuwe "XXL Christmas Edition". Deze zal doorgaan in de alom bekende Cherrymoon beter bekend als "The House Of House".
De inkom bedraagt 15€ (12,50€ vvk) en de deuren gaan open om 21:00.

Get ready for Trance Energy ticket sales
The world’s top trance event is again set to descend on the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht: the annual celebration of Trance Energy will be on Saturday 7 March. With the brilliant success of the previous edition still fresh in the memory, no effort is being spared in ensuring that next time around it will be even better. Tickets go on sale on Saturday 29 November.
Trance Energy premièred on 29 April 1999 in the Beursgebouw in Eindhoven, and is now heading towards its sixteenth edition, having become the largest trance gathering in the world, attracting 30,000 visitors every year. The strong international character of trance has been very much in evidence at the more recent editions, including at last year’s event, when a large proportion of the visitors came from other countries. At least fifteen nationalities were represented, including a group of partygoers who had flown in from Australia.
There were some big-name DJs doing their stuff that night, such as Tiësto, Ferry Corsten and Marco V, all backed up with a fantastic show and an amazing lighting spectacular. Four areas are planned for Trance Energy 2009 in the Jaarbeurs, while the Main Stage, Future Stage and High Contrast will be featuring once again.
The Club Stage will be replaced this year by a truly original Trance Classics stage where all the unforgettable classic numbers from Trance’s rich past will be given an airing.
The party on 7 March 2009 will mark the tenth anniversary of Trance Energy and there will be a cast list to match from the world of national and international trance, appearing alongside a balanced mix of new heroes and the biggest artists of the time. As always, the production and spectacular will be a showcase for the latest technological developments.
Tickets go on sale on Saturday 29 November. They cost €43.50 and can be obtained via www.Ticketonline.nl, by calling 0900-3006000 (45 cents per minute) and from every branch of Free Record Shop. But remember... last year the tickets for Trance Energy were sold out far in advance.

De Bonzai retro was, vooral door een teveel aan duvel, bijzonder gezellig te noemen. Door pas om half twee aan te komen hebben we de set van Airwave rijkelijk gemist. Toch was er nog genoeg animo geproduceerd door een alweer te laat gearriveerde YDR. ("Speelt gij tot half drie? Das goe, dan ga ik er nog ene pakken.")
De muziek bestond vooral uit de gekende hitjes die Bonzai hebben grootgebracht, maar dat mag - gezien de locatie - geen verrassing heten. Verstand op nul en alcoholpromille er ver boven, en geen haan die er naar kraait als voor de 385e keer The House Of House wordt opgelegd.
Alleen blijft Sotto's net iets te groot voor een club anno 2008, en heeft de bezoeker al vrij vlug de indruk dat er weinig volk en vermaak is.
Thuisgekomen rond 7.00u om twee uur later alweer op te staan. In Seraig stond er zondagmiddag ne bijzondere gezellige Luik - Antwerp op het programma. En met terug Sniff, House of House, Bonzai Channel One etc op de bus is het alsnog een bijna 24 uur lange Bonzai Reunion geworden.
Een beetje zoals een groot man het ooit in zijn onderschrift verwoordde: Bonzai forever! |
