Try it dude, find a flaw in the service ... just stick it their face and explain how unfair this and that is.
My bill now stands 50% cheaper then the average iPhone / BB users on our carriers. It's nothing compaires to some ppl's plans that are truly mindblowing.

So after having exhanged my iphone 4 times at the apple store due to defects, I get yet another phone with a defect. (black dust spots under the screen)
Don't trust the phones they give you out of the white box @ the stores, all of them are refurbs (or at least make sure to inspect it carefully before leaving the store)
If in fact you have exchanged your phone more then 4-5 times then call Apple and ask for Option 3 (I didn't even ask for the option, they offered it)
Nonetheless, I called apple. They said that it was unacceptable that i had to exhange my phone 4 times and because for my troubles they are sending me a Brand New Boxed Iphone 3GS 32GB (I have the 3GS 16GB version) and when I receive it just have to send my old one back lol

In the past, the units coming out of the white box were new ..., but I assume it's all changed now. I never got a refurb yet. After a few swaps I've done, they started to carry units in a mini black box ver, just like the retail box.
I examin mine to the max, next time ... gonna bring a flash light :p
But I gotta give it to you dude, I should of thought about that ... i salute you SIR! Guess I'll be doing that after 2 more swaps, which reminds me, time to get a new unit in the very very very near future.

Unfortunately now, I think they are all refurbs.
Definitely inspect for the following if you have to swap your phone @ the apple store:
- Light Leakage on the sides of the phone or from the earpiece (which makes dust getting under the screen a lot easier, also really annoying at night) Make sure to ask them to take it to the back so they can check it in the dark, or put it under your shirt with the brightness up all the way.
- Dust under the screen
- Dead Pixels (usually black or white, if its any other color it is usually a stuck pixel, so just put some pressure on it with your finger and it usually goes away)
- Check the responsiveness of the touch screen (some touch screens stop responding after couple of minutes of usage and in order to use it again you have to push the power button, really annoying)
I can't really think of anything else beside stress fractures but these mostly seem to appear on the white models.

The iToilet
Jerry Seinfeld and company were back on TV as a show-within the Curb Your Enthusiasm show (season 7, episode 10 for sticklers), and perpetual neerdowell George Costanza is dealing with the loss of his iToilet for iPhone millions — that’s right, his fictional character struck it fictionally rich making a fictional iPhone app to use GPS to find the closest clean fictional toilet.
Jerry also has a brand new Mac. So, yeah, insert Microsoft advertising jokes below.

OPTIONS -> ADVANCED -> SERVICE BOOKS
Delete the "FACEBOOK [CICAL]"
and before you do that go to options of the Facebook app and uncheck the BlackBerry Calender Application

did you not see the option when you first set it up not to include contacts and calendar from facebook?
you can find it again in options when you are in the facebook app or you can run set up wizard again.

alright...my blackberry storm (1) will be in transit in 14 mins.
switching from MIKE to TELUS and being a client for 8 years, the following is my plan that's not available for regular customers:
200 outgoing mins
unlimited evenings and weekends (from 9pm)
unlimited incoming calls and texts
1000 outgoing texts
500 MB data (more than enough for me)
free caller ID (usually $7 more but since it was included on mike, i get it free switching over)
all for $60 per month which is a few dollars more than my current base price plan......I think it's decent

New Swype Technology For Typing Text Launched For Smartphones - Will It Replace QWERTY?
A lot of mobile phones today, including the iPhone, have made typing easier by providing QWERTY keyboards. But can typing on mobile handsets get much more easier than this? Swyping is an upcoming technology that strives to achieve just that.
So how is it different from typing on a QWERTY keyboard? Well, the letters of the alphabet are aligned in pretty much the same way as in a QWERTY keyboard. But instead of pressing the letters one by one while typing a message, swyping lets you to simply touch and drag your finger across the screen to the various letters to input the text.
This new technology has been developed by Cliff Kushler who is also well known for developing the T9 predictive typing technology for mobile phones. The new technology is being made available for the first time on Samsung Omnia II and the company has announced that swyping shall be made available on Android handsets pretty soon.
The technology looks interesting. But is it actually quicker than the present QWERTY keyboard? We have our doubts. A video developed by the company and published by TechCrunch compares swyping on Omnia against typing on an iPhone keyboard and concludes that the swypist is much quicker than the iPhone typist.
The video does not seem to be providing a fair comparison and pits an expert swypist against a newbie iPhone typist. Check it out below to make your own conclusions.
Nevertheless, it is an interesting technology that could be the future. Kushler's T9 technology is today available on close to 2.4 billion mobile phones and it will be exciting to see how far this new technology can go. What is your opinion on swyping?

upgrading firmware/software is the first thing I do whenever I get a phone (plus all the hype about 5.0 in this case) :)
will need some help figuring stuff out but this is a pleasant upgrade for me :)
