Yes the AppVV guys, same dude's that made the video.
Apparently the A5 CPU is powerful enough to take care of missing ram issue, others also said Siri is also embedded into the CPU. |

Facebook for iPad app goes live, we go hands-on: Chat, AirPlay, full-screen games and photos

Update: It is live, we’ve taken a walkthrough below.
According to The Verge (formerly known as This is my next), the elusive Facebook for iPad app is about to go live “momentarily” on the App Store. The iPhone app will also get updated, the publication has it, with bookmarks to apps, a new Requests dialog that will display app notifications, and support for Facebook Credits for in-app payments. VentureBeat quoted Facebook engineer Leon Dubinsky as describing the software on the Facebook blog, but no such post had gone live at press time. While the social networking giant has yet to formally announce the program, they already have a dedicated URL up and running at facebook.com/mobile/ipad.
The page invites users to download the free Facebook for iPad app here. That URL actually leads to the existing iPhone app, which indicates that both the new iPad app and the existing iPhone client have been merged into a universal binary. The official list of features doesn’t disappoint: You can chat on the iPad’s beautiful 9.7-inch canvas, browse and flip through your friends’ photos, as well as play games and watch high-definition movies in full screen mode.
What’s best, it supports AirPlay technology so you can easily and wirelessly beam your videos and snaps to that big telly in your living room through the Apple TV set-top box, which is also up for an update with 1080p video output via the A5 chip. At post time, the US App Store still had the iPhone app hosted at the URL, but it shouldn’t take too long before changes propagate throughout regional App Stores. Go past the break for release notes, more screenies and a hands on video.

I highly doubt that they put Siri onto the silicon. If they did, that would be a marvel of consumer electronic engineering.
What I am interested in is, do you have to have a net connection for Siri to work, like Google's voice search?
Also, how do you activate it? It cannot possibly listening all the time, that would destroy the battery. |

I'm actually seriously considering getting one. My question is, can it be integrated (back and forth) with my iPhone so the emails, contacts are always in sync WITHOUT iTunes help? |

Who knows if Siri is embedded in the A5 or the IP4S has 512 of ram, until they take a part the phone and examine the ipsw within the next few days._ (Edit: I've read the article wrong, they are trying to figure out if Siri needs the A5 cpu to run, they're trying to see how much resoruces and juice the piplines need)
I'm pretty sure Siri will need to be online with the web, there's most likely a dedicated server in one of the data centers @ Apple. The App ver which was pulled, needed a data connection to Siri server._
Siri activation can be done by holding the home button down for 2 secs (just like the current voice control for the 3GS & IP4) or hitting the ear phone or Bluetooth headset buttons and what screen you're on with move up._ |

iCloud takes care of everything wirelessly, PC free and everything is pushed automatically. Watch the keynote.
(of course if your music collection werent bought from iTunes and photo albums need to be synced) |

This makes no sense... why waste bandwidth? A bluetooth connection is all you need. Perhaps there's a setting for that instead? |
