I just called fido and they said I was able to upgrade once they get the new iphones in. I will be at 2 years come July 20something so I'm in the clear. If it comes before the official 2 year date I'm pretty sure a threat to switch providers will convince them to let me upgrade.
I feel bad for anyone who got a 3GS recently.

Yup, I'm glad I just kept my iPhone 3G and dealt with the speed issue, which wasn't an issue for me because I never used a 3GS haha. Here I come iPhone 4 lol.

I'm with Rogers, got my phone in Dec. 2008 via HUP with retentions. How badly are they going to me if I want to do another HUP and pay whatever?
If it's horrible I'll just buy the phone outright and they can themselves and their ridiculous plan schemes.

I think you guys just hold your questions about the HUP until details are released by Rogers. Otherwise its all just wild speculation.

I got my 3GS with Bell in November/December I think, not even thinking about asking them about me upgrading to the 4G, but I do want to install iOS4 on this thing very very badly..

Ive stated in the past how hi res the IP4 screen will be, from the vietnam prototype and how clear the black text w/ the black background looked in the photo.
That's unreal and seeing it in person is gonna be something we all should exp within the first week
After viewing the pic and video, I felt the need to boost up my screen brightness to feel somewhat better about the colour display I have.
