2 bars drop, calls are 100% stable and don't believe the media. AT&T's coverage is horrible in the states.
Data is effected a little, not massive
No dude. It does not = none...
That would = some but not much...
I can replicate it where ever there is a not ideal signal ie. inside of the mall this morning...
As a matter of fact its doing it right now as I palm the phone in my left hand, it's at 3 bars in my friends apartment. If I let go, look at that 5 bars...
That being said, I don't care. Small price to pay for an amazing device...

Went to fairview, eaton centre and called yorkdale early in the morning for the GF, 100s are still lined up @ 8:30am. What happened was, for those who couldn't get it got raincheck tickets. Even with the tickets, your not promised to get one today ... Ppl lined up @ 1am and stores opened 7am.
Apple says restock is next week, call on Tuesday. (first come, first served)

Question:
Why does my iPhone not receive incoming messages on my UofT e-mail address if the messages have already been received my computer's e-mail client? For instance, if I'm at work and--thus away from my computer--my UofT e-mails will arrive on my iPhone. But when I'm at home and Thunderbird receives an e-mail, that e-mail will not show up on my iPhone.
My rogers.com e-mail account does not present the same problem.

I think its a setting on the mail account. If you have access to your UofT settings online see if you can fiddle with it. I had similar issues with Gmail, but found a button that fixed it. Something to do with keep mail on server or something like that. I cant remember for the life of me what it was called.

Gmail - Forwarding and POP/IMAP
Forward a copy of incoming mail to "[email protected]" and "keep gmail's copy the inbox"
Nick, see if your UoT email allow this to be done.

Why must people get one within the first few days. Unbelievable waste of time to get a new phone. PS3, Wii, backstreet boys etc. I can understand because it doesn't happen every year.
But iphone... like wait a week or two. sheesh.

Ironic Steve Berra gets a IP4 for the Berrics to replace that nasty Sidekick.
Text Yoself Beefo Yo Wreck Yoself With Scott Decenzo and Felipe Gustavo
All the skaters worldwide text the Berric's number and they replay on video
IP4 replaced the Sidekick
"The iPhone4 came out a month ago and you still gotta wait an hour to get into the store" <--- That's crazy

Told you the IP4 Antenna issue works best on spotty and ty networks ... I can only drop two bars on Rogers and calls are still 100% stable

Meh, dropped a bar or two while in the basement, everything else works perfectly. I don't really hold my phone with that kind of a death grip anyways, so I don't really see this being a problem. Can't wait to test out the video at beach/keating channel tomorrow.

My gf is lie the head certified Cellphone person at the Futile Shop in Oshawa. She said out of the stock she received, she only got two Rogers units, the rest were Telus. Rogers ones were sold at store opening but had lots of Telus units by end of the day.

Need advice:
My current data plan is a ty 500MB/mo ($25) and I just ran out for the first time. I use the phone (MyWi tethered) at the cottage for internet, but it seems that the laptops connected gobbled up all my allocated bandwidth.
I want to call Fido and cry like a baby to see if I can get that 6GB plan like so many others have. I have 3 accounts with them and would threaten to walk to get my data jacked up.
Any advice? I need ammo to argue with them.
Edit:
God damn it. I just checked my data using the Fido app. Yesterday it said I had 2MB left at the end of the day. I turned off data on the iPhone way before that because I didn't want to go over. Today I turned the data back on and now it says I'm 6.5 MB over... like WTF? With minimal usage I've used 40MB without actually using it. When it was at 35MB left all I did was check the net for info (with all pictures turned off on IE). There's no way I used all that up because I knew I was getting too close.

Why do you need to cry like a baby for? 6GB plan is back for the IP4 launch, offer ends 09.30.10
To answer your next questions, yes you can get that data plan without HUP to a IP4.
My best advice to you now, ask if they're gonna resign 3 yrs or contract stacking your existing data plan
