Apple considering aluminum design with logo-antenna for iPhone 5?
With the iPad 2 rumors now put to bed by the device’s official unveiling, where will Apple fanatics turn for their iRumor jollies? The iPhone 5 of course! The Taiwanese newspaper Economic Daily News, citing anonymous Chinese sources, states that Apple, Inc. may be considering ditching the very controversial design of the iPhone 4 for its next generation smartphone. The presumed iPhone 5 would sport a milled aluminum backing with the antenna integrated into the rear Apple logo — similar to the original, Wi-Fi only iPad. The juicy rumor even comes with the above mockup, courtesy of macotakara.jp. It’s safe to assume that after the antenna fiasco that accompanied the release of the iPhone 4, Apple will do some serious retooling when it comes to the iPhone 5. Will the redesign incorporate an all aluminum back complete with a radio radiating piece of fruit? We should find out in June.

So excited for this :)
I hope there is a redesign - I love my iPhone 4 - but really miss the feel of my 3G
There is also speculation that it may include NFC technology

Warning: Hold Off on Jailbreaking iOS 4.3 GM Seed
Numerous tutorials are popping up online which provide instructions on how to jailbreak the new iOS 4.3 GM Seed posted to developers. BigBoss has issued a warning asking users not to update to and jailbreak this firmware.
As always, I give my standard warning not to update and wait for the jailbreak release. This time, I am giving some extra caution, however.
With 4.3 comes apple’s implementation of address space layout randomization (ASLR). In short, this will mess up the way mobile substrate works. You will need a new mobile substrate in order to use your favorite tweaks such as winterboard, sbsettings, bitesms, folder enhancer, etc. So you should definitely avoid 4.3 until an "official" jailbreak is released for it.
As usual we will provide detailed tutorials to help you get all your devices jailbroken once the firmware and jailbreaks are available.
(Don't want to jinx it, but so far iOS 4.3 GM build isn't as smooth as 4.2.1. Maybe it's the GM build and the public ver will be ironed out ... Or all the news features are taking a toll and the slow downs are starting for the IP4.
We'll see how the public release will be, but even GM Build last year @ this time frame wasn't like this)

Apple worked/working on 64 GB iPhone?
M.I.C. Gadget points to some apparent iPhone 4 prototypes on the chinese “grey market” with 64 GB storage capacities. The images could technically be easily faked but the “XX” on the back of the device’s do help represent the units as potential Apple prototypes.
This suspicious 64GB model has started selling in Sin Tak, the greatest grey market in Hong Kong, and the sellers claimed that these are engineered models and available in small quantity. Interestingly, the back of the phone states iPhone XXGB! That reminds us the leaked prototype last year, the one Gizmodo bought it. It also states the Model no. as XXXXX, and the FCC ID as BCG-XXXXXX. On the screen, you can see is indeed a 64GB capacity and the model is 995-6049LL. And the phone is not locked!
If real and not hacked, this 64 GB iPhone 4 most likely represents a storage capacity that Apple decided to abandon for their 4th generation iPhone rather than an upcoming model. On the other hand, Apple released an out of the ordinary_16 GB original iPhone in February 2008 after the initial June 2007 4 GB and 8GB iPhone launches.
Lineup for the iPad 2 Begins Already
Justin Wagoner has pitched his tent in front of the Knox Street Apple Store in Dallas likely becoming the first person in line for the new device.
Apple is launching the iPad 2 without pre-orders at 5:00pm on Friday, March 11th. In a move which is bound to cause much longer lines then a typical release.
Let us know if you are planning to try and buy an iPad 2 on launch day. If so, when will you get in line?

STRANGE
Just for fun, I've done a restore and the IP4 returned back to iOS 4.2.1 w/ Baseband 03.10.01 ... strange indeed. No internal baseband checks at all.
(I've removed all the Tiny Umbrella shsh & host files before I started)
Edit: Ironic
TinyUmbrella for Windows has been updated with the ability to kick devices out of recovery mode and with iOS 4.3b1 support.
TinyUmbrella has been updated to finally support windows for the recovery fix! I've personally tested in XP and Windows 7. Please let me know if you have (non-DFU) issues. If you need help getting into DFU mode, use google. Check the change log for more info. As an aside, I've also added 4.3b1 support to this version. Enjoy!

iOS 4.3 to be released at 10AM today; personal hotspot supports 5 connections?
One of our sources has just let us know something pretty interesting. There has been a lot of talk surrounding Apple’s personal hotspot feature, specifically it’s capability of only supporting 3 wireless connections (as opposed to 5 like many other devices). Well, we have been told it’s all left to the carrier to decide. If a carrier requests it, five devices will be supported, but by default, it’s three.
Oh, and we’ve also been told iOS 4.3 will be available for download publicly at 10AM PT today. Fire up iTunes and get your update trigger-finger ready!
Sprint in talks to acquire T-Mobile USA, report claims
Rumors of a possible T-Mobile takeover were reignited on Tuesday as Bloomberg reports Sprint and Deutsche Telekom are holding meetings to discuss a possible acquisition. Citing multiple anonymous sources, Bloomberg claims discussions between the two companies have been taking place on and off for some time, and one of the major areas of dispute is T-Mobile USA’s valuation. Should Sprint and Deutsche Telekom eventually come to terms, the deal would reportedly give Deutsche Telekom a sizable stake in Sprint Nextel Corp. following the merger — up to 50%. Sprint declined to comment on the report, while a Deutsche Telekom spokesperson said only that the company “could sell all or part of the U.S. business, and all options are open.”

BGR is kinda dicey when it comes to Apple-related crap.. They seem to be on point with BlackBerry, but they've dropped the ball on Apple rumours before.
