Nm. Just found out is emergency call in German...
Next question..
Why is your phone in German??
It's not in German, the warning text wouldn't be in english if that was the case. It's the international slider, same example as the emergency call slider.
That over heating warning, is normally from faulity battery or the unit is left in the sun too long. One of the best warning screens ever made for any phones.

Dev Team To Release Ultrasn0w To Unlock iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G After iOS 4.2 Is Released
There is finally some good news for iPhone users who want to unlock their iPhone.
MuscleNerd of the iPhone Dev Team has tweeted that they will be releasing Ultrasn0w for iOS 4.2, one or two days after it is released.
However, the software
unlocking solution will be only available for iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G users initially.
MuscleNerd responded to a question from one of his followers on Twitter:
simplysaru: @MuscleNerd thanks.. how long would the wait be for 4.2 any approximate time
MuscleNerd: @simplysaru if you’re on 3G or 3GS, just a day or 2 at most after 4.2 is public (just enough time to verify stuff)
So it looks like iPhone Dev Team has figured out a way to unlock baseband 05.14.02 that was bundled with iOS 4.1 for iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G users.
They still need to figure out a way to unlock baseband 02.10.04 that was bandled in iOS 4.1 for iPhone 4 users.
It also remains to be seen if iOS 4.2 comes with a baseband update, in which case users will have to use tools like PwnageTool or Sn0wbreeze to upgrade to pre-jailbroken iOS 4.2 and preserve the baseband from getting updated.
As always, stay tuned here at iPhone Hacks or follow us on Twitter or subscribe to our RSS feed, we’ll let you know as soon as we’ve any further updates.

VLC Media Player Might Be Pulled From the App Store; Grab It Now
Applidium had released the VLC Media Player for iPhone and iPod Touch earlier in the week after releasing VLC Media Player for iPad a month back.
If you haven’t downloaded it already then do it quickly as it might be removed from the App Store.
Rémi Denis-Courmont, one of the primary developers of the VLC Media Player has filed a formal copyright complaint to Apple regarding distribution of the VLC media player for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch on the App Store.
Rémi Denis-Courmont has issued the following statement:
Today, a formal notification of copyright infringement was sent to Apple Inc. regarding distribution of the VLC media player for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. VLC media player is free software licensed solely under the terms of the open source GNU General Public License (a.k.a. GPL). Those terms are contradicted by the products usage rules of the AppStore through which Apple delivers applications to users of its mobile devices.
However, the folks at VideoLAN who also have limited rights on VLC had given Applidium the green signal to port VLC to iOS don’t seem to agree with Denis-Courmont’s stance. They have responded with the following tweets:
Maybe the FSF should actually ask us our opinion instead of writing misleading articles about VLC...
@dougsymon @Lrichie_london So far, VLC is not going out of the AppStore...
As of now VLC Media Player is still available on the App Store but don’t take any chances and download it right now using this iTunes link, after all its free.

iPhone 5 will be remote computing on steroids
Apple’s plans for the iPhone 5 extend beyond the iWallet and straight into a more mobile computing experience than you’ve seen before using an iPhone, at least that’s what Cult of Mac is claiming.
The scoop is that use of Near Field Communication (NFC) technologies at Apple extends beyond personal security and payment systems and will also include solutions for remote computing on steroids.
As explained, the scenario could be like this: An iPhone user will carry lots of their desktop data and settings with them. When they approach an NFC-equipped Mac, they will be able to wave their phone and then all their applications, settings and data will load on the computer, even if it isn’t there’s.
This will be something, I think. And when a user walks away or their NFC-capable iPhone moves out of range, “boom”, all their data disappears from the Mac’s screen.
“The system would essentially turn any Apple computer into your own — like you’re actually working on your own computer. Same settings, look, bookmarks, preferences. It would all be invisible. Your iPhone would be all you needed to unlock your Mac,” an unidentified source told Cult of Mac.
This will include desktop security, mouse and keyboard settings and more. The whole thing extends to a user’s Home folder, which will be accessed via Back to my Mac or via MobileMe.
Apple is understood to have been trying to figure out how to make a Home folder truly mobile for years. Indeed, Cult of Mac warns this scenarion may never be implemented. However, given Apple’s investment in server space there’s got to be a good chance the company’s plotting a memorably transportable Mac-in-the-cloud experience.

YouTube over 3G on 4.2
4.1
4.2
Youtube over 3G is now med-res
The pictures you’re seeing now are screenshots png files, it really doesn’t do any justice and you’ll have witness it live on the retina display.
We’re are getting closer to 3G being unrestricted, which Apple is doing to save all the carriers world wide from being burn to the ground.
Overall, found the performance so far really amazingly fast & smooth for everything w/ this ver of iOS.

Awesome.
Is it just me, or am I getting much better quality video on my iphone's youtube, than my PC's. I suspect some interpolation adjustments in the picture maybe. I don't think it has to do with smaller screen = sharper image. I ran the same videos, on my desktop, laptop, and even youtubeXL on my TV, and the iphone youtube is way less pixelated.

Skyfire 2.0 for the iPhone app gets approved… available Thursday for $2.99
On Thursday you will be able to watch Flash videos on your iPhone. Apple has approved the Skyfire 2.0 for the iPhone app and it will be officially available on Thursday at 9:00am… but it’ll cost you $2.99. We’ve seen a quick video demo of the mobile browser in action last week and it converts video from Adobe Flash to HTML5.
CEO of Skyfire Jeff Glueck showed up on CNNMoney yesterday to demo the app and stated they have a cult following: “the app was given a rather rigorous review from Apple, but it was approved in less than two months. Apple did not return a request for comment on why it approved Skyfire for its App Store”. Check out the video after the break and make sure to check out the app on Thursday.

iOS 4.2 Already Jailbroken Using Redsn0w
iPhone Dev Team had released Redsn0w 0.9.6b2 to jailbreak iOS 4.1 for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G, iPad and Apple TV 2G yesterday.
They have announced that the new version of Redsn0w can jailbreak iOS 4.2 GM that Apple had released to developers yesterday.
They’ve posted the following update on their blog:
Today Apple released to developers the GM seed for 4.2. Tinkerers will find that yesterday’s redsn0w jailbreaks today’s 4.2 GM seed, simply by pointing redsn0w at the 4.1 IPSW (rather than the 4.2 one). Right now it mostly only makes sense for JB app developers to do that because many apps (including Cydia itself) need to be updated for 4.2. However, if all you want to do is enable afc2 (to use iFunBox or other file browsers), or to tweak settings like Battery % and Homescreen wallpapers, then go for it (if you have valid paid access to the GM seed). Be sure to uncheck the Cydia box, though! Ultrasn0w unlockers should stay very far away from this!!
So users who want to unlock their iPhone should avoid upgrading to iOS 4.2 for now.
Comex developer of popular jailbreaking tools like Spirit and Jailbreakme has tweeted that the jailbreak tools for iOS 4.2 might be delayed as Cydia – the jailbreak app that is required to install jailbreak apps doesn’t work with iOS 4.2.
However, a 4.2 jailbreak might be delayed because Cydia doesn't work on 4.2 yet. Not sure how close @chpwn is to finishing his fixes.
Dev Team is planning to release a new version of Ultrasn0w for iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G usersfew days after iOS 4.2 is released.
As always, we’ll let you know if we’ve any further updates so stay tuned here at iPhone Hacks or follow us on Twitter or subscribe to our RSS feed.
Are you looking forward to the iOS 4.2 update? Do you plan to jailbreak it? Please let us know in the comments section below.
