Would anyone here be interested in some custom jailbroken IPSWs? I just figured I’d ask because it’ll be easy for me to just pop them all out at once. I also realize that not everyone is a sucker for punishment with a hard-on for potentially bricking their phones like yours truly, so feel free to wait until the 21st June too. :stongue: |
sooo tempted :( |

Apple A4 probably running 1 GHz also. I just wonder why they didn't put the RAM information in.
iPhone 4 - 256 MB RAM
Galaxy S - 514 MB RAM (rumoured)
I can't wait for iPhone 5 (probably have 4G) and a dual-core processor and Bluetooth 4.0  June 2011 going to be awesome. |

Jester and Orko...
From Engadget...
Hey, look at that -- Apple's trademark attorneys actually called the senior owner of a trademark before Steve announced a product name and got everyone into a tizzy. See, Cisco routers and switches just happen to run an operating system called IOS, and that means Apple had to get permission to rename iPhone OS 4 iOS 4. Of course, the previous trademark tussle between Apple and Cisco over the iPhone mark probably means that all these guys are just good buddies now, so we're just waiting for Mac OS X 10.7 "Lynxis" to hit.
Oh, and in case you're wondering, a company called "FaceTime Communications" actually sold its "FaceTime" mark to Apple and is completely changing its name in the coming months. Might we suggest "Apple TV Remote" as an intriguing possibility? |

I did some questimation...
iPhone 4 to iChat AV (if it does happen) it will connect millions of people like that.
iPhone 4 to iPhone 4 limiting Facetime capabilities thats for sure. Especially just on WiFi.
I hope it does come to iPad 2 / iPod Touch 4 (might be a costly feature) but if Apple really wants this to work, they need to make it available on all models.
iPhone 4 to iChat AV is good for businesses or friends...
iPhone 4 to iPad 2/iPod Touch 4 is a good way to connect to family members...
We will see if I was right or wrong in a year.
I would totally use Facetime with family and probably some friends. |

The IP4 is confirmed to have 512 of ram, there were two prototypes, Gizmodo and the Vietnam vers.
Retail ver will be 512, 100% confirmed.
Remember the CPU is a custom A4 chip, stripped down and trashed the misc stuff the iPhones don't need. |

iBrick  :p
I think Apple up to something sneaky. Someone steals your iPhone you can send a sms to it and when the person checks the msg the phone takes a picture of the person and sends it to you. |

Hahah, hopefully not.
So apparently QuickPwn hasn’t been updated for iOS 4.0 GM, but I’m sure by the time I wake up tomorrow some crazy bastard on Dev Team will have updated it. That being said, I’m reverting my poor, abused 3G to a virgin state of non-jailbrokedness - I’m going to see how long I can stay on the right side of the law and compare performance as honestly, I’ve never owned an iProduct that wasn’t jailbroken.
Chrissakes, I owe Stevie J. at least that much. |
