It's too bad, I miss using that app a lot.

carefull though ... not too many PS1 roms out there
Tons on RS.
I'd be very surprised if it can run a PS1 emulator at anywhere near 150 FPS with the late-gen games though. No emu programmer has ever been able to get the hardware-accelerated graphics right, and the best software renderer I've seen (epsxe) is a little sluggish even on my quad.

I haven't seen many PS1 roms, compaired to the complete PS1 entire library. The ratio is way off.

They're a lot more difficult to find, for sure, mainly because they're 200x the size of a GBA ROM (per CD), but they are out there. Certainly all of the classic games like the FF series, Castlevania, etc.
I'm not saying they're everywhere - I once spent 4 days looking for a particular RPG (not continuously of course). Looking for a PS1 ROM is a bit like looking for a semi-obscure CD-ROM computer game from the late 90s. Too big to just throw on a web site, not new/popular enough to show up in a zillion torrents.

IM+ 3.1 with Push Notification and Push Twitter Now in App Store
IM+ 3.1 [$5.99 - iTunes link] has hit the app store with support for push notifications. We wrote about the new version a few days ago, and for those longing for IM style push Twitter support (yep, Twitter can work via IM, and IM+ can push notify you of DMs, @mentions, etc) it’s worth checking out.
Our only question — Is this beginning of push twitter tennis?
(To head off questions, Antonioj was using fancy Jailbreak themes and Growl for iPhone notification displays, I rocked it old school)
If you try it out, let us know what you think. And if you suddenly have a big old 99 new messages on your app badge, let us know how that works for you too!
[Thanks to Icebike for the heads up!]

I updated my IM+ last night when it came out and so far so good. I haven't used it heavily yet though. I wish backgrounder worked with 3.0 because then this would be a lot easier, no wait time for the app to open lol, but I guess if you don't want to wait you can get a 3GS. I'll deal with it and save some cash until the next iPhone comes out though, and then get that one.
Here's your load time diff for each unit, is it worth updating to 3GS if you don't play games? Remember the ETF and hardware + contract cost (3 years), it adds up in the end.

Thank yoooou. IM+ will be much easier to use now :D
EDIT: It looks like the new backgrounder isn't playing nice with IM+ lol, figures. I can enable it just fine, but once I come back into the app and click on a contact, IM+ shuts down. Then when I go back into it, it says it didn't shut down properly and everything has to load again. Ah well, just some bugs that have to be worked on I guess.
The developer says that he's just enabled the basic backgrounder now, and none of the options, so he's going to be working on it more, just takes time. I'm sure he will have bug fixes too, well I hope lol.
