I was thinking that but Im one of many trying to sell one at the same price.
Id like to think mine is in better condition than most. It never left the case and screen protector since I got it. Every week I would meticulously clean the device, getting all the dust out of the headphone jack, and silent button and where the usb cable goes. It really is in great condition.
I would accept a reasonable offer, but I was getting low balled 75 - 100 bucks. I think thats a little too low.
sigh, I'll lower the price I guess |
It sucks I know, my girlfriend sold hers for $300 and she just got the screen replaced by apple the day before and it still has apple care. It was also jailbroken and unlocked.
Regardless of how well you took care of it people don't really care. Its a shame. Did you upgrade to the IP4? |

Yes sir. Loving the ip4. Im not desperate to sell the 3gs. I'll lower my price by 25 and see how it goes. I know there are a few people who know the value of a like new condition device out there.
I know I would pay a little more for something thats in better shape. |

So apparently dealing with people on craiglsist is a massive pain in the ass.
Been trying to sell my 3gs for a week, and I've had 50 super lowballers, two people back out last minute before meeting, and tonight some one lowballed me at the meeting and then I told them to go them selves and pay me five bux for wasting my time. |
I eventually sold my 16GB 3G for $350, though it was out of warranty. Good condition is key, mine seriously looked FOB (fresh out 'the box, lol) and it sealed the deal. I got lowballed hard for about a week before this one guy showed up, and I was happy to show him a few things, give him some pointers etc. |

| Also, three days in with my new baby and I still can't get over how throughly awesome this thing is. The speed and usability is just incredible. I just wish the iOS 4.1 / iPhone 4 Jailbreak would come sooner than later. That'll just catapult this from incredible to awesomesauce. |

I know, I'm almost afraid to Jailbreak it for fear I'll lose the blazing speed. It's EXACTLY how I want my mobile devices to operate, but little stuff like a custom carrier logo (yes, I'm that particular) and the Calibri / Helvetica Neue / BB Sans fonts are just essential for me. I'm SALIVATING to think of how they'll look on the Retina Display. |

Honestly, the retina display is very well worth the upgrade, played with a coworkers 3GS for awhile during break time and that was it.
Remember, pulling the upgrade trigger is really upto you.
Why dont we let Robst*r fully explain if the upgrade from the 3GS to IP4 was worth it.
Jer, why dont you snowbreeze it since you're so itchy dude. |

My last 4 iPhones were paid out of my pocket. This iP4 is the first hup ive had from rogers in years. The upgrade was worth it ;) |

I was talking about hardware vs hardware, pricing shouldn't matter if the hardware is impressive to the individuals. :)

Oh yeah, retarded me :(
Nowadays, I normally skim through all the JB news and etc, but still pay close attn to the Dev Team.
Once SHAtter comes out, I'll have to really test it for days to see if the jailbreak effects the IP4's performance and see if how the new vers of Intelliborn apps run w/o Rock.app. It honestly feels really nice to be legit and after what we've all been through w/ the 3G speeds ... on iOS4, performance is #1 priority and nothing else matters anymore to me. |

I have a problem with a friends 3G. Now, usually i can fix almost any software issue but this one is giving me quite the challenge.
Whats going on is its stuck in recovery mode, and when Im able to get it out it stays on the apple logo with the spinning wheel. The weird thing is that itunes recognizes it as if its ok. I get error 13 when trying to restore. A google search really didn't tell me anything new.
I have tried standard, recovery, and DFU modes to restore with no luck. I also used iRecovery to try and kick it out of the recovery loop with no success.
My only other thought its that it must be a hardware issue.
Maybe someone here can shed some light on wtf is going on |
