New MacBook Pros get GeekBenched. Outrunning last year’s Mac Pros
Some lucky people out there in Internetland are Geekbenching their new MacBook Pros Quad i7s with average Geekbench scores coming up right around 10,000
The 2.0 GHz Quads coming in a little lower obviously at around 8000 while the new dual core i7s hit about 6000. Interestingly, that’s a lot higher than last year’s top end models which were closer ro 5000 (below)! In fact, have a look at where these new laptops fit in Apple’s lineup:
(Why would you even bother to get an older model? My college buddy got a Macbook and skimmed on a few things and the dude totally regretted the following year ... due to hardware limitations
From what i've read, next year's model is gonna be a milestone)

I do the majority of my work on a late 2009 MBP and I adore it, it's my baby - that being said, 10.7 is right around the corner.. Extra CPU and RAM muscle is highly recommended.

Speaking of which, 10.7.. Here I come!

Next year is supposedly the unibody successor. Luckily I have a 4yr PSP from Future Shop on mine, so I'm a few trips to the microwave away from a brand new MBP. Huzzah!

I guess Ill wait. My current laptop, although inferior to anything on the market now is still doing what I want it to do...run traktor with no lag or problems.

What portentous homo, if ppl only knew you got kicked off the Dev Team, stole the code to jailbreak the first iPhone and claimed you did it all yourself.

Wasnt he the first one to hard unlock an iphone? Why do you have such a hard on for Dev Team?

Didnt you claim you're well aware of this "Jersey Shore" drama? My personal suggest as always, check the first page and read GeoHomo's history and "maybe" you'll understand why a lot of ppl dislike him._
Without the Dev Team, you wouldn't have a proper software to jailbreak your iPhones. Indeed; the recent exploits are found by CDV and Geohomo, but you fail to realize it's the software build that matters the most. Sure you can jailbreak with the other guys, but having buggy & slow performances sure doesn't make it worth while for ppl who enjoy jailbreaking._
Everyone claims "I have no issues and problems with the other teams", but they're the ones who don't fully test out all the diff jailbreaks to confirm who provides the best software._
After jailbreaking and modding for almost 3 years now, I can confirm 100% that the Dev Team is light years a head of everyone with their software. I've posted tons of proof and made many ignorant ppl realize it at the end._
Now you wonder why I jailbreak and test all the recent types of software to pass on the results for everyone here? (Even when I'm fully legit) If I didn't do that, wouldn't I be just ignorant too?
(Spelling error, thanks for pointing that out Nick. "pretentious")

Yeah I got that SMS too, none of those products are good and that's why Rogers is slashing the prices on them.
