1) ed up his phone (since he's so amazing & very skillful)
2) Begs on a forum for help w/ very brief info
3) Pretends he has figured it out, doesn't post how he "figured" out & the advice was spotted / given on another forum after begging again
4) Boost about "anyone needs help pm me" BS.
I may not know everything and I still got a lot to learn, but behaviors like this is unaccountable. Anyone here that acts like this from now on, I will refuse to help and hope all of you will do the same.

Radio Shack Offering iPhone 4 For $25 With iPhone 3GS Trade-in
If you thought you missed out on all the discounts post the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, well, you're in for some luck. Folks over at Radio Shack has announced a week long sale that started on Saturday and will last till December 11.
The highlight of the sale are the prices at which they are offering the iPhone. Apart from offering a discount of $50 off all iPhones, they are also offering iPhone 4 for $25 with iPhone 3GS trade-in.
Radio Shack is selling all iPhones at a $50 discount from their original prices. This translates to iPhone 3GS for $50, the 16GB iPhone 4 for $150 and the 32GB iPhone 4 for $250. Sounds enticing? But it doesn't end there. Radio Shack is also offering a $75 and $125 credit when you trade in a working iPhone 3G or an iPhone 3GS respectively for iPhone 4. When clubbed with the $50 savings we talked about earlier, this translates to a cool $175 discount for an iPhone 4. With this discount, the 32GB iPhone 4 model will cost only $125 instead of $299 and the 16GB iPhone 4 model will cost $25 instead of $199. All these prices exclude taxes and standard activation fees.
Radio Shack is also not bothering to access the value of the handset based on the physical condition. The old iPhone should be in working condition and it should not have a cracked screen to qualify for the trade-in.
The offer is available at any of the 4600 Radio Shack stores across the US. Existing AT&T customers will need to check their eligibility for this offer using Radio Shack's eligibility checker program.
If you were planning to buy iPhone 4 or upgrade your iPhone then this is probably the best time to buy one. Use this online store locator to find the one nearest to you now.

iPhone Dev Team brings untethered boot
This video clip purports to show yet another accomplishment from the iPhone Dev Team, this time they’ve managed to boot an iPod touch without using wires.
As our source puts it, “MuscleNerd just uploaded this video booting a untethered iPhone 4. and I heard they are on their way to unlock bb 02.10.04.”
Meanwhile we sit and wait for Apple to make good on Steve Jobs’ one time promise that the company is working to deliver untethered sync…”someday“.
Update: Coming out before Christmas

China detains iPad-smuggling ‘mules’
Looks like there’s action being taken against China’s grey iProduct market, weeks since Apple was forced to close its retail stores there as price-gougers became a high-street problem: Chinese customs have detained 14 iPad-smuggling housewives, a report claims.
Customs officials in Shenzhen caught 14 housewives trying to carry 88 (presumably 3G) iPads and 340 mobile phones into China. One of the women had 65 phones strapped around her waist along with another 20 in her handbag. (The report doesn’t say what the phones were, but we have a hunch…)
This is a big business: the women earn around $30 for each run across the border. China meanwhile is attempting to collect tax on each iPad carried into the country, even those definitely for personal use.
However, defending against smuggling of this nature is a King Canute style challenge: “Border control can’t fully staunch the flow of a product in huge demand,” writes the Wall Street Journal.

Edit: Android units are reported as the biggest bandwidth hogs, strange since many had reported the iPhones took that title.
European carriers want content companies and smartphone makers to pay network usage fees
How do you start a net neutrality debate without ever saying "net neutrality?" If you're a European wireless carrier like France Telecom, Telecom Italia, Telefonica, or Vodafone, you do it by just getting straight to the point: you say companies like Google, Apple, and Facebook need to start paying for continued network access because their devices and services use too much bandwidth. Yep, that's a straight-up network neutrality issue, but the carriers are framing it like it's an accounting problem -- and they're not being shy about wanting more cash to even out the books as they invest in next-gen networks. "It's necessary to put in place a system of payments by service providers as a function of their use," says France Telecom CEO Stephane Richard, while Telefonica CEO Cesar Alierta says that Google and Yahoo's free use of his network is a "tragedy" that "can't continue." (No, we're not making this up.)
In addition to shaking down service providers and device makers, European carriers are also following AT&T and Verizon to tiered data plans -- France Telecom is will move from unlimited pricing to something "more sophisticated," and the other networks expected to follow. What's most interesting to us is that the carriers are appearing to conflate bandwidth-heavy services like Facebook and YouTube with devices that customers use to access those services -- does it really make any sense to charge Apple or Google a fee for making good phones that encourage more network use, on top of charging users for tiered data? That's an unexpected -- and unfortunate -- twist on the standard net neutrality debate, and we're not so sure we want to see where it's going. Read the whole article at the source link, it's a good one.

iPhone Dev Team Working On A Solution To Downgrade Baseband 06.15.00 To 05.15.05 For iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G
Some users have reported significant loss of GPS signal after upgrading to baseband 06.15.00 using Redsn0w or PwnageTool to unlock their iPhone.
MuscleNerd of the iPhone Dev Team has just confirmed that they are working on a solution that will allow users to downgrade their iPhone’s baseband back to 05.15.04.
MuscleNerd revealed this while responding to one of his followers on Twitter:
@Lezanz sorry still collecting data on that. But also working on a bb downgrade (!) method for those with unlockable bb @idansc yes if the BB downgrade method works, it will work for 06.15 too.
We are assuming that the iPhone will still be unlocked after downgrading to baseband 05.15.04.
MuscleNerd of the iPhone Dev Team also revealed earlier today that he has managed to get untethered jailbreak to work on iOS 4.2.1. But MuscleNerd hasn’t provided an ETA on when the updated tools will be released. We'll let you know if there are any further updates.
Are you are experiencing any issues with GPS on your iPhone after unlocking it using the combination of PwnageTool or Redsn0w and Ultrasn0w? Do you want to downgrade the baseband from 06.15.00 to 05.15.04? Please let us know in the comments below.
(Told you guys this was a nightmare and should not meant for the "not so advance users")

Ill be waiting for an untethered jailbreak with any GPS issues sorted out before jailbreaking. I use the Tom Tom app on a regular basis and any loss of GPS would be bad.

GPS issues are occurring from the unlock iPad baseband 6.15.00 fused into 4.2.1 with the 3G and 3GS, the jailbreak (tethered or untethered) right now is fine.

New Zealanders have been enjoying Epic Games' visual stunner for a few hours now, as per usual, but the past has caught up with the present, so to speak. Infinity Blade is now available on the US iTunes store for both the iPad and the iPhone. Drop the gun, give the mutants a rest, and pick up the sword -- cost of entry is $5.99 and the file size is a whopping 318.3MB. What are you waiting for?
