Think of it this way, any case that covers the back is susceptible because of the particle being trapped in between two very hard pieces of material, each with very little "give" so when you put something in between them and apply pressure, it's likely to breach one if not both. Due to the way that the iPhone screens / back platings are constructed and designed, you're going to see it it spider through the length of the phone as opposed to doing localized damage.
I'd be very careful when putting your case on, Pierre. Also, think twice about hitting up the beach / the sandbox / the cat litter when you have it on. |

Seems fine cause it seems to not be a slider. Just clean the phone and inside of case when assembling it.
Also, I use a micro fiber cloth and analy clean the phone and case before I put the case on making sure no dust gets in.
I have a slider, and I know it fits tight hence why I am very particular about cleaning it before I put it on. I already scratched a 3g a few years ago by not cleaning a slider case before putting it on. |

| The iPhone Dev Team had released a beta version of Redsn0w for iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G users to jailbreak iOS 4.1 couple of weeks back but it was only for Mac users. They have just released the beta version of Redsn0w 0.9.6b1 for Windows users as well. |

Oh God, couldn't he just stayed in retirement?

Alright, I chatted with geohot earlier today but was sworn to secrecy - although it seems the news made its way out anyway, so geohot said go ahead and cover it here.
geohot is prepped to launch limera1n (we covered the possibility of such a software months ago) on 10/11/10 - the 1 year anniversary of the release of blackra1n. <--- Which ed up millions of 3GS users. |

Be aware of Skype! The current version of the skype app (v2.1.1) runs in the background and it will kill your battery fast! Although I would really like to mostly use skype to make and receive calls, the current implementation of the app just makes this impossible. Apple really had a reason to do multitasking the way the did it and I always sign off of it or kill it in the app switcher if I won’t be using it. |
