Thanks man.
BTW, when I try to use redsn0w and do the unlock, it starts going through, reboots the unit and starts the jailbreaking process, but when the program gets to "uploading kernel" it shuts down and gives me a "this program would not respond" windows error message. Any ideas?
I can restart my iPhone and it's working fine, but every time I try to unlock it, the redsn0w program stop responding half way though.
EDIT: Took me 4 tries but it finally worked. Not sure what happend there, but whatever, works now. |

| I installed 3.0 last week, and just jail broke it yesterday. What a huge slowdown! So noticeable. Might go back to the regular firmware until the Udev team gets sorted out. |

Navigon looks nices ... but, who cares how it looks, it has to run smooth!

Nerd Up.
So I got my iphone 3gs up and going last night. I ran into an issue when I chose to update contacts from my SIM card and my yahoo address book. I ended up with many duplicates in my contact list and found myself trying to merge them all.
My questions is, is there a way to alter/edit the contacts from my iphone from my Windows based PC? |

It uses windows address book as default |

If you have Outlook installed, you can sync it what that, and edit in Outlook. |

iPhone 3GS PlayStation, Game Boy Advance emulators demoed on video
A final iPhone 3GS jailbreak hasn't been released yet, but that isn't stopping enterprising hackers from trying to get at all that extra horsepower, and some of the first notable hacks we've seen are these updated PlayStation 1 and Game Boy Advance emulator ports, which run way faster than the versions for the original and 3G. The revved up hardware in Apple's latest is apparently capable of running either of these at 150 - 225fps with zero frameskipping, which is pretty impressive. Of course, we'll be way more impressed when the Dev Team releases a 3GS jailbreak and we can hit these up ourselves, but in the meantime there are plenty of videos to with which to while away the time at the read links.

Does anyone know how to erase all my contacts on the SIM Card without going through 1 by 1?
I've just updated all my contacts in yahoo and will import from there once I get home. Just need to clean out all the contacts on the existing SIM.
