BlackBerry App World crosses the 10,000 app mark

It's been over a year since it hit 2,000 apps, but it looks like BlackBerry App World has finally hit its biggest milestone yet -- RIM has announced via Twitter that it's now "10,000 apps strong and growing." For those keeping track, that still leaves it well behind Apple's App Store and the Android Market, which by some estimates boast roughly 250,000 and 70,000 to 100,000 apps, respectively, and each of which also took less time to hit the 10,000 app mark. Even still, the fact that a smartphone platform "only" has 10,000 apps speaks quite a bit to how far we've come in just a few short years. |

We all know the 3G runs silky smooth on 4.1 :)
Anyone can confirm HDR Photos on the 3G and 3GS units? Checking everywhere, no one is reporting ... |

The IP4 is strange going from one iOS to another, the error code you got is 1004. Most likely your host file has been changed to Cydia's location with your 3GS and there's a voltage problem.
When the unit shows that error code, it's actually all done and couldn't finalize the verify stage of the iOS. Use reboot to kick yourself out and you'll be laughing. |

Someone report back w/ a 3G running on 4.1
Notes sync'ed w/ IMAP service still there or it's removed?

EDIT: Removed in 4.1 sorry 3G users. |

The only place I ever synced the devices was my PC with the altered hosts file.
My mac mini, my laptop, and my girlfriends pc all failed to update the ip4.
I finally got it just ten minutes ago on a mac a guy uses at work.
All is good ;) |

Went for an oil change @ my shop, saw a group of old chinamans w/ a IP4 taking turns trying to change the language display to Chinese. Lol
Everywhere I go, so many new users are coming to the IP4 |

Call and threaten to cancel and say you are going to Telus. I said I was going to Bell, and I ended up getting offered a.) an iPhone 4 at $159.99 b.) direct shipment to my door
After a few weeks of not receiving my phone, I decided to call yesterday. I got bounced around to 5 different people, wasted 1.5 hours of my time - I went ape, ripping this poor girl to shreds. She ended up giving me $45 off my bill for the next four months. lol
Stay with Rogers - they are the best 'you me i you company' in the world. |
